Abstract:
In recent years, a high interest has emerged in the development and application of Pure Shift NMR spectroscopy. Such techniques greatly enhance resolution of NMR spectra by suppressing the effects of homonuclear coupling interactions, turning multiplet signals into singlets, drastically reducing spectral complexity. This tutorial aims to provide a concrete introduction to the theoretical and practical aspects of pure shift NMR, facilitating the development and adoption of the technique to a wider community.
