Thanks Nate. This one takes me back to when I used to chase the old SP SW1500's when I was a kid in the late '70's early '80's. Good times.

When I was younger me and my mom used to live right by there, me and my grandma used to walk along the tracks around the neighborhood, so much fun

I want to visit the Torrance bridge soon. I have driven through Torrance hundreds of times and I must have driven under before. Now that I now the history of it from your video it makes it more interesting.

Here is a bit more info. The bridge was designed by architect Irving Gil, who also design seem buildings in Torrance. The bridge was built about 1913 to 1914 and the tracks over the bridge primarily served the Columbia Steel Mill where the Honda Headquarters are.

It's a great place for trains, but they only go through about two or three times a week.

It’s kind of stupid that people have to put graffiti on the locomotives
