McNeil has change so much since then... the siding got longer, the old Mopac signals are gone, the mechanical bells on the crossings are gone so much has changed... but great video! didn’t know 6936 could fit around the curve in Austin

The Austin station? I railfan there frequently and I get nervous some of those autoracks are going to derail on that rather sharp 90 degree curve.

Sounds so weird hearing two PMs pass on one unit. So wish I could see one of these, I'll have to find a way over to Sylvis some day to see this big lad.

Do you have a way of finding trains? Because I’ve hunted McNeil for about 7 years and I’ve never seen a commemorative locomotive. So I was just wondering

They just pop up on you unless someone gives you a tip.

It's a RS3L, not a Prime 920.

No, it's a prime 920 with S heads. Look at photos of the thicker manifold and bells. Primes are heavier knock-off castings of leslie parts that work interchangeably.

Razzy Moosechuck I guess it is a Prime 920. No RS chambers though.

@@NorthEasternMotionProductions right, I had to look at another picture and just noticed they lack the spikes.
