Rear fence bracket suggestion, make it a little longer so braking handle can fully rotate.

I don't think you will need it any more accurate for woodwork. After ripping timber it would be brought to final dimensions by planing. The extrusion will have some level of inaccuracies anyway. Accurate cross cuts are made using a dialed in criss cut sled.

1:49 Would using a 1530 front rail and a 6533(ish) bearing on it prevent the need for a rear rail, while also removing the need for a rear extrusion rail? Couldnt you just add a piece of uhmw plate to the underside of the fence to keep it supported? (Or use a piece of angle iron on rear with uhmw slider on it? Better yet, use 20 series v slot wheels (with the groove in them) and have them mounted directly under fence so the can ride the edge of the bedframe angle iron rail?

Yes with my later revision of this I switched to v slot rail

Looks good. A small piece of judiciously applied shim stock would probably take out most of that 5-8 thousand. However, would itself expands or contracts that much day to day, so probably not worth it. When will you be selling the kits again?

Where did you order 8020 parts from? I might be able to make that plate you added but I'm not sure how accurate I can cut and drill.

I have the same grizzly table saw you restored. I purchased my fence kit a couple of years ago plus one of the upgrade “kits” recently. You have made so many mods to the fence I am concerned about having what I need this fall when I get my table saw out of storage and into my just completed workshop. Please allay my concerns.

Hi Michael, when you are ready to assemble it, just send me an email and I will send you the assembly manual. It looks like you should have all the parts needed for me previous fence design that uses the UHMW sliders so you should be all set. Feel free to send me an email with any questions or issues that you encounter.

Why is the current version, on your store, mounted so low in the front? Seems to me that mounted in this fashion there is interference in getting to the power switch and the lift mechanism on most table saws. I'm thinking that the rails should be located only a few inches below the table deck. Let me know when you fix this, or is this entirely adjustable? If so then disregard my little rant question :) ...

I have not had any issues with them interfering but yes, they can be shortened on the non-machined end. They are designed to allow you to easily make the fence perfectly square.

@@tsudorex it looks like the fence rail can be removed so in that case it should be fine. You may have to drill mounting holes for the rails however
