Thx for showing this method. I expect this will be my new way to light my Solo bonfire fire pit!

Cleanest burning fire I have seen on the solo, or any other fire in my opinion.

Go horizontal Jenga style like you did, it does truly work the best. Only exception is stacking vertical and longer above the lip and make a Swedish Torch. Awesome stove and fire pits.

Thanks for watching! I'm editing a video right now about a slightly larger fire of the same style, hope you'll like it!

Thats because the solo design doesn’t provide all the primary air at the bottom. The rising heat actually pulls some air in over the top to pull smoke down and inso it gets extra time in the heat to get broken down...

Do you leave it out under the elements are do you stow its way when it’s not in use?
@groverscorner2364

Half and half, since it has to cool down to stow away its out all night and aince I pulled it out for winter I use to much to put it away. I've had it for 10 months and u can see its in pretty good shape. The manufacturer warns that it will discolor from heat no matter what you do. Thanks for watching!!

I dug a hole and put my solo stove in it. The flame is now ground level. Full body heat. When it's above ground our feet always feel cold. Try it out

How does it get the air to the bottom intake holes?
@MannyG3rd

@@JT-nz7wf i made the perimeter about 6 inches bigger than the solo stove. Have no issues with it.

Pro tip: Use a flat file on your ferro rod to shave down those “speed bumps” on your ferro rod. 👍🏽

Sounds like a great idea! (And the neurotic guy in me would save those shavings for something else) 😆

This is exactly my concern with my kids. Solo should sell a table to go around it. I like the bricks around it. This is what I will be doing!!

A table or something available around it is actually an excellent idea!!

@@groverscorner2364 Every american people only burns the wood on the video, but nobody thinks about to cook something on it. If a hungarian start a fire, then they usually cook a meal on it. 😁
