I enjoyed Mr. Bhandari's commentary. I would like to know his opinion about problems associated with the intermittency of solar energy and the absence of economic scalable energy storage that is necessary to make intermittent energy sources viable.

I live in SE Asia and I must say the Chinese mobile phones are absolutely fantastic and amazingly cheap. Everyone in my country buys these phones. Same with kitchen equipment, electric equipment including solar of all sorts. Their food products have also improved. Gold in a big focus in SE Asia.

I dont think china is 2nd world country anymore.. overall china is much better than US, from building infrastructure, renewable energy, ev cars and transportation.. china has over 3000 bullet trains while US doesn’t even have a single bullet train. many chinese can survived happily with $1000/ month, while american barely survived with $3000/ month.. in china you can buy meal from $1-$4 per meal, while american at least must spent $12-$18 per meal, not mention how much they need to spent in electricity and gasoline. On top of that china is the world manufacture, while US get lesser manufacture over time. So over all none of any country can compare to china at this point.

Those are exceptions more than the rule, though. Most of China is still sub-second world, imo.

Not many Pennys laying around anymore but there are lots of empty beer bottles and cans discarded by the side of the highway. In many places you can get a nickel for those. Forget about Lasonde curve, get a garbage bag and start collecting.

That's a great analogy right there, T. Some garbage gets thrown away because it really is garbage, though. Gotta be vigilant out there.

The fact that china's government is centralized, and fairly autocratic allows them much more freedom to pivot on policies quickly, in contrast to the more rigid western democratic model. An objective that may not survive the election cycle in the west, can be integrated either immediately or into the 5/10/15 year plan in china. Therefore, its very hard to write china off, as their actions can be difficult to forecast.

If the USA's government was more libertarian based, the capitalists would pivot much faster.

Ya don't cha just love the centralized communist and their centralized systems of control? I look to un-centralized free markets and individual liberty No one has written the China model off. Rigidly Autocratic is just absolute power over the 1.43 billion people. What part of that is a good thing.?

Looking at Blackwolf copper, I'm not sure what he is talking about? This deal closed on July 3rd. Here is a quote: "Pursuant to the Arrangement, former Blackwolf shareholders are entitled to receive 0.607 of a Treasury common share (each whole share, a "Treasury Share")". Treasury stock closed July 3rd at a price of: $.155 so Blackwolf shareholders got $.094. Blackwolf stock on May 3rd when merger news broke was .09. These stocks have low float and he assumed tons of risk in a change in Treasury stock price. I'm not going to look into the rest. But not good when the first two look suspect.
