I love the way you explain things and thank you for doing these videos. I have the singer zigzagar that I got with a treadle sewing machine but I had no manual. I didn't even know what it was still learning how to do a lot of this stuff and I do have a hand. Crank that I'm going to also turn into a turtle. I have a motor for it as well and I'm going to fix up a friends grandmothers treadle sewing machine for him be a hand crank of treadle and a motorized and I'm also going to give him a base to put it in so we can put it on a table no, he has options

Thank you very much. Many manuals are available online for free if you Google the part number of your zig zag. It's lovely working on machines and getting them up and running, it's just so satisfying 🥰

So very helpful. Singer 201-2 here. I look forward to coming across an attachment. When viewing online, it’s easy to mistake the zigzag with the ruffler. 😅 Thank you!!!❤

The zigzag that attachment makes is beautiful. I enjoy your channel so much! Zig and zag part is so funny, but so important. 😂

Forgot to mention, I did a little vlog on how I cleaned up my 201k. It's a hand crank but they are really easy to clean up and get running 🥰

Hello, I have a zigzag like the third one. The upper hole is used if you have a singer 101. The lower hole is for the singer 66, 99, 127, 128, 201, and the 221. I love watching your videos!

I have a few different attatchments etc. Now I’ll be able to shortcut the learning curve and actually achieve a good result thanks to your video instructions. Amazing detail and great teaching. Thankyou. My Engineer husband is fascinated by my Sewing machine attatchments. He comments on the quality of what was achieved by those original machine manufacturers.

Hi SewyThingy! I love these old zig-zaggers and clicked to watch your vid the minute I saw it. (It's just a few minutes after 6am here in NZ right now and it's a public holiday today so YAY! - and there's a SewyThingy vid waiting for me!!) 🙂 You've probably figured it out because you did it in your demonstration - whether you pivot on the zig or the zag for the "filled in corner" when you turn depends on whether you are turning the fabric itself to the right or left. If you turn the fabric to the right pivot on the zag (when the needle is on the right-hand side of the zig-zag) and if you turn the fabric to the left pivot on the zig (when the needle is on the left-hand side of the zig-zag).

Ah yes, I should've explained it better because zig turning and zag turning is important. Argh! But you are so right 🥰🥰🥰
