I remember this port visit very well. It's one of my favorites. I remember seeing your police break up a bar fight like it was something out of one of your Monty Python movies

@@stevenagejunction4107 Not yet. I have been away from the hobby for over 20 years and want to bring my skills up to par before I start this one.

Strange to see the ship from that view... I keep trying to find myself on the ship but I know that I never had duty on this port visit.

I cannot imagine how US lost to the stupid wifebeating Talibans with all these warships, fighter planes and all the bombs they have. My only guess -the fear of American generals for their commanders meant the ground realities were never conveyed up the chain, errors on top of misadventures. With 20 trillion USD flushed down the drain in Afghanistan alone, a few americans lost their lives, some lost their limbs but most importantly many rich people got super-rich. The moral is -if you fight a war for principles you stand a chance to win, if you go into a war out of your egos -doomed.
