When I saw the title of this video, I was worried that you would be anti-vaccines... glad to see that I was wrong! Vaccinations are so important.

Oh is it a thing really? kay, cool ^^ Mh well, who's going to vote and what kinda education you have can have a huge impact on how long you get to live though. But I get your point. (Then again, why bring up civil rights at all? Just talk about vaccines ;) Doesn't take long to talk about it or to get vaccinated, so still much time left to talk about other things anyway) And YES!

I bring up civil rights because I think the issue of vaccinations is more important as it's a matter of life and death. We spend so much time discussing things that are important but there are things that are arguably more important that don't get the attention they deserve.

Mhhh.... lack of civil rights also can kill people. Not as obvious and directly, but still. Yes, vaccination is very important. But so is being able to make a living wage to support yourself to not die. (I suppose thanks to food banks your wouldn't starve immediately in the US but the effects of a literally poor lifestyle can lead to a shorter life or maybe you need medical support you can't afford etc) For exmple. Yes, vaccines are important but I don't think you can compare them to civil rights or something and thus there's no need to bring it up. I suppose.

I think you can directly compare the two and I also don't think the examples you cite necessarily fall into the category of civil rights.

Don't they? Ok, sorry then. Though I if the 'population group x only makes x% of white male income' is civil rights then it kinda is thoug? Maybe you can compare them. Though you'd kinda have to look past making an x on a sheet of paper and what it means in the long term.

My point is that that is not a life or death matter. Not an immediate threat. It's a tendency, an inclination, a negative trend. Disease outbreak is a much more pressing and urgent issue.
