Today we bring a recipe for veal shoulder from the oven. Ideal for every table and especially for celebrations and family gatherings. A recipe you can't go wrong with.
INGREDIENTS :
boneless veal shoulder 2.5 kg
spices: oil, salt, pepper, rosemary, peppercorns, vegetables
100 grams of butter
500 grams of potatoes
RECIPE:
✅ Marinate the veal on both sides. Oil, salt, pepper, rosemary and peppercorns. If time permits, it is best to leave it in the refrigerator overnight.
✅ Oil the baking pan, insert the veal and put aluminum foil over it, in which we will punch a few holes and of course the lid will also go over it.
✅ Bake for 45 minutes at 220°C
✅ After 45 minutes, we will put some butter on the meat and put it back in the oven for another 30 minutes
✅ Prepare potatoes and season with: oil, salt and vegetables. Add the potatoes and bake for an additional 30 minutes
✅ After those 30 minutes, we will add more butter. Feel free to use potatoes as well.
✅ Bake for another 45 minutes
✅ After 45 minutes, turn the meat and add 100 - 150 ml of water to get a delicious juice. Return to the oven for another 15 minutes
✅ Cut the veal into steaks and return to the oven. Increase the temperature to max and fry without a lid for 5 minutes on both sides in the meat juice.
