Setup if using output 1 as a mechanical relay 240 V AC, 5 amp to drive a contactor or relay for heating.
Step 1:
To enter set up menu push and hold the up and down arrow keys for approximately 3 seconds, LoC is displayed on the lower display.
Once there, push the green advance key a number of times until Fn1 displayed on the lower display, then use the down key to select the function of output 1 which is on the upper display. Set to hEAt -- Heating.
Step 2:
Push the green advance key once until Fn2 is displayed on the lower display, then use the down key to select the function of output 2 which is on the upper display to select Off as this output is not been used.
Step 3:
Push the green advance key once until h.A9 is displayed on the lower display, then use the down key to select the control method which is on the upper display to select on.off ON-OFF control.
Step 4:
Push the green advance key once until hSC is displayed on the lower display, then use the Up or Down key to select the hysteresis which is on the upper display, usually 2°C. What this means that if you have a set temperature of say 100°C that the temperature controller will switch the heater off at 100°C and then only switch the heater back on at 98°C so as not to shorten the life of the contactor or relay.
Step 5:
Push the green advance key a number of times until LoC is displayed on the lower display, then use the down key to select the lockout menu level to prevent anyone from changing settings on the upper display to 2. This can be reset to 5 if you want to change settings at a later stage.
Step 6:
You can return to the default display by pushing the infinity key.
