One of the simplest and kindest deeds each one of us could do for our Vietnam Veterans is welcome them home. Dead serious. It's that easy. Smile, eye contact, "Welcome Home!". A hug or a handshake is left up to your discretion. No one ever said that to them when they came back home from that war. They were spit upon. They were called "Baby Murderer". Imagine if your two words brings a smile to that Veterans' face. * "Welcome Home" *

What’s wild to me is, I have a 2005 Silverado LT Crew Cab. 2WD, 5.3, almost every option in the book minus a sunroof and 4WD. I have the original paperwork, and the original owner walked out with the truck for a little over $32,000 in 2005. Adjusted for inflation that’s about $50,300 in todays money. Yet a brand new truck that has almost every option minus 1 or 2 is over 100k dollars.

Any man or woman who did not pay child support or college loans ends up paying it later. Anyone who applies for social security retirement insurance benefits will be paid minus withholdings for past due debt. The Department of the Treasury will force social security. Any state court can and has ordered withholdings from social security payments for decades past due. You can’t negotiate with social security since they are the middleman. You have to go to court to reduce the payments. The court always wants to punish by taking a lot of money. The court system like any government bureaucracy takes a long time like to respond.
