I use Izotope Nectar. It's expensive at full price but the elements version goes on sale often for as low as $20. It is pro software and has presets for podcasting, voiceovers, narration, singing, and more. I do musician streams though so we use it for actual singing as well. Keep an eye out for sales on the elements version if you want to really up your audio quality. I heavily use Melda too, I love their compressor it is so much easier to use with visual feedback. Unfortunately OBS doesn't seem to support sidechaining for VST plugins so I can't see how to use it for "ducking" your background vocals. I would love to see: VST3 support and Sidechaining support come to OBS in the future.

Formants are the harmonic frequencies that occur in the human voice. They define the timbre and alter the perception of how a vocal has been performed (more from the diaphragm than from the throat, for example). Formant shifting does not affect the pitch or timing of a segment.

The free Graillon plug-in from Auburn Sounds is a great plug in for pitch correction and pitch shifting. I haven't quite figured out the best T-Pain style autotune sound but this gives a pretty good start. You can also mix the pitch shift sound with the dry sound so can make a "demonic" sound with multiple pitches saying the same thing.

So without getting into all the science and stuff, a formant is like the finger print of your voice. As you can imagine emany things affect thee sound of your voice including the shape of your mouth, the teeth in your mouth the size of density of your head as the sounds travels through your physical ebeing. Anyway, a formant is like a finger print that makes YOU sounds like YOU its unique to your voice. Changing a pitch of a sound will make that sound sound higher in pitch how ever thee formant stays the same so it creates a very unatural sound dragging thee formant up creates a more beelievable "higher pitch version of you" or lower, depnding on what you are doing. So if your goal is to sound like a higher version of YOURSELF its best practice to drag thee formant up as HIGH as the epitch shift so for example: if you want to sound like "high nutty" you would then go +12 both sides not just one, how ever int his video you aree creating a new character so its cool to break up at do +4 or w.e elsee many plugins that do pitch shift also have a lock so you could change them both equally together for this very reason. anyway awesome video, hoped this helped

Yes I found out how to do it actually. You need to enable OBS TOOLS in your stream deck as a “add on” for configuration with OBS. The official name I believe is BarRaider. Follow the steps it shows to enable all the features and you’ll be good to go to toggle filters and other cool options too.
