Of course headstands aren’t as easy as counting to 5 BUT here are what I consider the 5 key steps 🔑
• elbows under shoulders will give you more stability, balance AND protect your neck so please abide by this rule 😅
• blocks are necessary for the VAST majority of people in headstand. The amount of hamstring flexibility you need to NOT use a block is extreme, so grab those blocks - it’s not to make it ‘easier’, it’s to look after your neck 👌🏼
• Compression is your best friend here. Think of squishing your body into the smallest ball it possibly can be to find that lift off 🚀
• press down STRONGLY with the elbows and fists the entire time. Push push push and push some more 💪🏼
