Wow Aaron, on this of all topics the equanimity and respect-in-dialogue you model is breath-taking. And your guest seemed to do his best on that front as well. TBH I was starting to huff and puff at some of the content your guest was sharing, but your approach to the podcast was like a quiet insistent force in my ears saying 'LISTEN. Give him a fair hearing.' So I did.

am i the only one that sees a false equivalency between the Atlantic Slave Trade (chattel) and forced labour of prisoners prisoners? is there something uniquely cruel of a slave class which you may breed like livestock?
