I never saw what spindle you went with? In another vid maybe? Interested to hear as I am looking... My only fear is a 2.2kw spindle may be a lot heavier than a 1.5.... Trying to figure that part out as well...Good vids, appreciate them!

It’s been a year, is the cooling level adequate? What temperature does the spindle operate?

Greetings. I’ve been watching as many videos as I can on these water cooled spindles. Trying to do some research on an appropriate spindle for my mill. How do you like your spindle so far?

So far so good. I'm very pleased with the sound level, it's much quieter than I imagined. The main reasons I went water cooled was noise level, dust collection, and ability to run the spindle slowly if needed. From what I can tell the spindle is delivering on all these points. It's difficult to assess the power output, it's rated to 2.2kW (3hp) but until I get into heavy cutting I won't be able to know if those are real numbers. I've used a 3hp handheld router in the past and it was a beast.

Where did you get the inline water temp sensor? I have not had any luck finding it.
