In this video, I am painting these little white African Daisies. White was a challenge for me. White I found is never really white, but instead has hints of yellows, greys, pinks. I have found success in using a very watered down version of "payne's gray" by Winsor Netwon.
For the leaves, I use a "dabbing" of the tip of my brush, press down after drawing a thin line I combined, greens, cad yellow, and even some Prussian Blue! I then ensured I went in while each flower bunch was still damp and dabbed in with the point of my brush, some more Payne's Grey, right into the center of the flower and let it spread and blend for a beautiful shadowy look to the bast of the petals.
