Long time no see. A pity, since you have a talent for making everyday simple things look really interesting. You know, some kids move around, a dog looks in the camera, two chicken run for their lives. No fuzz, nothing big. But in a way, these vlogs cover happiness. Which is always small and never big. Happiness is never complex and always simple. I imagine hearing your children refer to their youth, once grown up as fine citizens. They'll remember this.

Nice to see you again. Great value building. I built a greenhouse with pallets and used fence poles (2,5 m x 6/8cm) at the corners, inside the pallets to act as fundation and connect the lower and upper pallets. Its super strong. Greenhouse plastic is also good if you want it dry andless ventilation. And gravel on the floor makes it look and feel much cleaner.

Very nice video and great build project. I built something similar a couple of years ago in Nova Scotia, Canada. I used 6mil plastic for the roof! It withstood 2 fully winters of snow before we moved. What I have got to say about your structure is that I hope it withstands whatever wind and rain storms that you get. I really tied mine down to the ground very well. It’s a great video all the same, shows people what possibilities they have from relatively cheap/free materials.

Nice job! When you get round to filling in the spaces, I´ve used expanded polystyrene 2 and 4cm thick sheets which you cut to size and slide in the spaces between the planks, or just tack them on the inside or outside directly. You then fill in the spaces with foam. I´ve made two sheds and the dog kennels with this system and they´re standing up well to the elements.

Great job of reusing old material! A tip for 'next time' is to place the pallets staggered from each other to create a more stable construction. If you could add a few more horizontal planks it would create a more stable construction as well. And regarding the wind, I'm not sure if the pallets are mounted into the ground but you might want to think about fixing it properly before it will blow away in the next big storm?

The wood is so strong and they serve a great purpose to build just about anything as you just proved, I can't wait to see it progress further. The only thing I think you should do is get at least one rain catching system set up for the roof runoff and have the barrel on the inside where the shade is so the water doesn't evaporate in the sun as fast..congrats! @@ourportuguesehomestead Yes, OSB will do the trick. You probably don't need me to say so but many building and renovation projects seem to produce scrap OSB and plywood that can be collected for free (with permission) and recycled, especially towards the end of a project when the site is being tidied up - at least that's the case in the UK.

Good project and good video. I've seen a few similar projects on here before - pallets are scrap and using them for anything is going to be a bit of a challenge. I don't know if you have a pressure washer but you could think about washing the boards down on the outside now it's up and staining with some wood stain for fencing or sheds. Most of the paint on the pallets would come off and the stains are usually for a five year period. The pallets that were broken up, boards could be cut down if you have a table saw and used between the gaps. Screwing them in place may be a possibility or gluing them, nailing them might challenge the structure too much. Alternatively, you could just cover the gaps in the style of batten and board buildings - I assume you've thought about this. There could be an issue with drainage and the bottom of the shed being more susceptible to rot than the sides. If you've figured out your drainage around the shed and possibly dug a couple of channels to help with this, you can avoid most of it as I'm sure you'll know. Just make sure that there aren't any places that the wood is constantly in contact with water or damp earth and it will last a few years longer. Good luck salvaging some timber to make the shelving on the inside. This is a good tarpaulin garage door/cover that you could copy to keep the weather out. kzitem.info/news/bejne/l4iayoGNbqRqh5w The pallet breaker tools may be worth thinking about and you might soon get your money back - there are videos on how to make them from scrap metal on youtube, if you weld. If you're going to be doing half a dozen projects with pallet wood over a few years, it might be better for your hands. Good luck with your projects!

Here is a thought I had while watching your vlog (I have no building experience whatsoever, so take this with a pinch of salt). If you put steel rods through each end of the vertical pallets with enough left exposed at the top, you could pre drill holes in your roof plates and the tin and secure them with nuts and bolts. Would that be structurally sound and give your roof more stability?
