This is how I started doing misc paving equip/truck work. One guy trusted me to give it a shot, me telling him I knew nothing about heavy duty equipment, and it was a successful after that.

You can be good at fixing anything and everything but one thing nobody will ever be able to fix, is stupid, can't fix stupid but you can charge for it.

I just bought a 1988 ford f150 for a project.the ignition is broke. Thinking about hooking up a toggle switch for starting. The previous owner tore out the ignition wire going to the starter solenoid on the fender. Those are where they are on the older fords.

I like you and ur a good guy but keep your nose out of stuff that’s gonna get you in deep trouble. You learned fixin cars on KZitem who are you to start messing with heavy machinery? You know you’re gonna be liable if something goes wrong with your fix and if that’s a major company say goodbye to anything you’ve ever made because they need their profits.

Brother this isn't rocket science. I'm blessed enough to be able to take a manual and read it and apply what I learned, plus I told the owner that I have no experience with this equipment, but he has seen that I have built a successful business and youtube channel by being self taught

Once again what he had me do was very easy. I have insurance for a reason. They have insurance for a reason. I was sub contracted and signed a sub contracting contract. The pay rate was $150 per hour which is actually a little low for heavy equipment. I charge $100 as a Mobile Mechanic so if this was a car that took 10 hours I would made $1000. Heavy equipment is just like everything else. Yes the danger is more because the weight but they are actually simpler then alot of vehicles.
