I own the Jeep with the Normandin license plate frame. It's one of the oldest dealerships in the country, started in 1875 building buggys and still in business today and still owned by the Normandin Family.

@@rocketresto not sure, a friend in Sacramento had me see if they had any records of his '71 GTX that was serviced there (but not bought) in '72 or '73. They didn't have those records. An episode of Graveyard Cars very briefly shows a photo of the Rapid Transit System in front of the dealership.

Liked this one alot sir. I have never been to a swap meet. Showing your purchases was very insightful. Recently decided to own a slant 6 truck and am very interested in east coast swap meets. Thank you for the curiosity/idea.

@@SypherF Depending on where you live in WVa., the Canfield, Ohio ( south of Youngstown ) swap meet was huge on this past Fri., Sat. About half were gone by Sunday though. The next ones are in July and Sept, I think, check to make sure!! Springfield, Ohio used to be good, as well as the ones in Carlyle, Pa. Happy hunting!

Hey like the swap meet videos, nice to see whats out there. Aways interested in what parts are going for and whats hot, interesting enough I've got a 71 RR with the San Jose-Normandin plate frame on it and its from the San Jose area. Jealous of the weather down there we're still in semi winter mode here in Mt.

Keep in mind was in my booth all day trying to sell stuff so the swap tour was after a lot of people had left (business first) and the car show was Sunday morning before the show had filled out.

Some of the used parts asking prices have made it more economical to buy the re-pops. By the time you drag it home, spend your time fixing/prepping/cleaning/painting or re-furbishing? It's a wash or you are backwards in the process
@rocketresto

Will try to do more of that. We live swap meets but like buying more than selling.

That kit body is on a Fiat 850 Spyder, not a Porsche 914, pretty odd looking beastie. Also, pretty sure those weren't RX7 wheels, really similar but wrong hole pattern/spoke count.
