This is the 5th installment of our Crustacean Task Force Webinar Series.
Restocking is a management strategy used at varying scales across global crustacean fisheries to supplement recruit-limited populations. For the fifth presentation in the Crustacean Task Force Webinar Series, three expert speakers introduced restocking programs for their national fisheries, describing the role restocking may play in the future of crustacean fisheries management. They explored the potential for application of this technology as well as case studies of successful restocking practices for both conservation and fishery output. There was then a question period for open discussion with the speakers following each presentation.
