"I actually take better care of my head hair as I learn how to take care of my beard." Those are true words, Mayor! I never cared about my head hair. I just shampooed and moved on after towel drying in the past. But after learning more about beard care I began paying attention to my head hair and now I'm styling it to look good with my beard using different shampoos, combing it, and blow drying it (which I never did until YOU recommended it during one of your Livestreams)! Beard care leads to hair care which leads to body care which leads to overall health care! Beard care is the gateway to becoming the better you!

That's some excellent advice Steve, especially the mindset stuff. Thanks for doing this, I'm sure it will help people as they go. I'd just add one other thing - Steve's got a strong beard with good coverage and density. If at this current stage you notice patchy areas, or areas you feel are thinner etc, don't worry - time and growth can cover these. Be patient and give your beard a chance to fill in. Even if it doesn't, Keanu Reeve's John Wick beard looks pretty cool, and it's got some serious patches.

It clogs the pores. I will write it down as a video idea!
@austinsnider5836

If anything, I thought it would’ve been the opposite since my CeraVe lotion is pretty thin and meant for acne as far as I know. It was recommended by my dermatologist several years ago and even says “lightweight” and “non-comedogenic, won’t clog pores” I’d really be interested in learning more about it, how it affects the beard, and if just some or all lotions clog pores.

Cheesy to help people week by week grow out their beard for the first time? Highly disagree and seems like a very sad outlook to me. This will be THE SOURCE for many men that don’t have a father to ask or anyone else to help them. I’m proud of this series and proud of the Mayor. Only thing cheesy I see is a comment like the one you left.

There is a lot more information, products, tips, and tricks to learn now that it’s a more popular thing. So why not be open to more information?
