After the Bigelow Range next mountain you climb is Mamma K!!! Whooot!!! 💚💚💚 As others have said take your time in the 100 Mile Wilderness. I pushed hard to the food drop, then pushed to the Birches in 2 days because of weather last year. I should have taken it slower and waited 2 more days to the next good weather day to summit. Someday I hope to hike the 100 Mile again and take my time.

Thank you!! I agree - slowing down is so important. Maine is definitely one of my favorite states and the 100 mile is extremely unique.

Been watching since your first week, and it's kinda freaking me out how close to Katadhin you are. Isn't every night in your hammock, a good night in you hammock :)

You guys are doing so good and your smile is the biggest I've seen yet! It's obvious that you are having fun and enjoying Maine. You should be at Shaw's as I write this so slow down even more if you don't have time constraints and really enjoy the 100 mile Wilderness. It is without a doubt the best of trail in Maine and everyone's tendency is to go faster and if you do, it will be over quicker than you can imagine. There is a great view of Katahdin up close by a pond on the right of the trail in the 100 Mile that is not only incredible but also makes you realize just how close you are. I cannot wait to see your face and your emotions when you see it that close. PLEASE so down!. I can't believe you haven't seen a moose yet. It seems that last year and this year hikers aren't seeing them. I hope the population isn't declining because I saw 10 or 12 of them on my last hike. One night I hiked until about 11pm and was just too tired to go on and I just put my mat and bag in the middle of the trail and cowboy camped between Rangeley and the Bigelow's and I awoke to a female moose standing on the trail about 6' away. I didn't want to scare her being that close so I just stayed there and she went off trail and walked around me. I hope you get to see some of them. Eat big at Shaw's! Hike safe, Hike strong...........I know you're having fun! geek

Cheering you on! (though you're probably done by now). I was at the ATC hostel early on in GA with you (my gray head shows up in your video from there...:). This was after your early tramily did an accidental 15 miler over Blood Mountain. Looking forward to seeing your summit video!!
