Oh man! no way! that's fairly close to Ontario right? I'm bad with logistics, but we plan to go back with all the kids in the near future! Great job with your NSV, keep em comin!! I saw so many people running when i was in canada... wish i had made plans to do it myself and take in the views, but i was being lazy and lame. I was jealous of how much fun they all looked like they were having!

@@tashafowler6176 Niagara Falls is a couple hours away from me but that would be totally cool if we were ever able to link up. I wanted to ask, as you talk about your struggle with bingeing. How are u able to calorie restrict? How do u stop and not keep eating when you feel like you want to keep eating more calories? Do u ever feel that compulsion to eat more?

It's definitely not easy. When I'm stressed or emotional or tired or basically any emotion or state of mind my self medicating response is to binge. And it does feel amazing...until it's done. Then theres the guilt and regret and shame. I'd say the things that help me most is 1) I set our my plate and eat it as is. No seconds, not a huge plate and I never just eat from bags or boxes like chips etc. Because I never feel full, I would keep going regardless of being satisfied. And I'm usually mindless during a binge so I'll look down and the whole box of ice cream is gone... 2) if I've spent time exercising I often feel like theres no way I just wasted an hour running to just eat back the calories in 20 cookies. So if I dont work out it's easier to justify a binge in my mind. 3) I stopped buying my worst go to binge foods, ready bake cookies, twizzlers, sugary cereals, breads, etc. No one wants to binge on a bunch of baby carrots 🤣 4)I log everything on my fitness pal, and try not to ever eat over 300 cal in one meal, with the exception of maybe 500 for dinner some nights. 5)chug a crapton of water to trick me into feeling fuller. It is really tough. I've been this way 31 years of my life. It's an easy trap to fall into. I think about food all the time and not because I'm hungry. It's very much tied to stress and emotion for me, but I'm a mom of 3, one with special needs, I work full time and we are very involved in our church, how could I not be stressed?🤣 so I'm learning to adapt and make better choices. Hope that helps!

I’m a new subscriber and I found your videos so relatable. It seems like everything you said about your weight loss journey, pre and post, even the comments you make about your husband had me saying “me too!” I hope you start making videos again!

It’s amazing how easy it is to gain weight and how hard it is to lose said weight. I have been keeping up with my 3 miles a weekday. It’s been hot here too in Indiana but I like to run on the treadmill

@@purdybby you inspire me, walked 3 today and ran 2 miles on the treadmill. Still felt like a sauna in my 69degree home. With the fan on me. And an ice cappuchino in my treadmills cup holder 🤣
