So helpful! Before I saw this, I was teaching my son 1/4 lean protein, 1/2 veggies, and 1/4 whole/intact starches/grains, with fruit as a dessert as "everyday foods", with other things being only once in a while. Looks like I was on the right track!

I done a 2 week diet no bread no rice . I ate salmon,Tuna and chicken breast only a long with salad, fruit and vegetables. I also went gym every day for 14 days the end result i lost 6 kgs. Thank you for many tips from here on what to eat.

Hi Anthony...I am a first timer to your site....thanks for putting it all in perspective....currently I had gone back to weight watchers and since June 4th I have lost 40 pounds, BUT I am always open to a new way of eating. As you know with WW it's all weighed and measured which I do everyday....I try to cut out the carbs because that is my nemises and if I do get any carb like pasta, crackers, cereal I make sure it's whole grain(wheat) and only have a cup. I LOVE my veggies and fruits which I eat often and I find having more fiber in the diet also helps me to keep full till the next meal...I have healthy snacks in between like fruit, air popcorn, yogurt etc....I take my walks several days a week for 30 minutes...I am 58 years old and a post transplant patient of 5 years....I want to get back to good eating habits and maybe you can help me more with that? Very informative channel you have and I have been on diets it seems my whole life....their are SOOOO many diets or food plans out there you go stir crazy.....but I've realized you must choose the best plan for yourself especially if your doctor recommends a certain food plan for your health and well being. Looking forward to your next video and thanks for the helpful information.😊👍

I am 40 and have constantly fought with losing weight since I left the military. I am currently 280 at 6ft. My biggest issue is monitoring and calculating calorie count and macors. I just need to find some basic meals I can consistently put together.

I watch my diet. I jog too 5-6 days a week, and workout. I tried IF. I'm at least 10 kg overweight and have never lost an ounce, unless through sweat, which returns.

Ok have a question.......I get hungry late @ night after 9pm - around midnight before bed . So what can I eat ( popcorn, nuts?) To not feel hungry a protein shake or something, Or is not good idea not to eat after 9pm ? To help with weight loss and to get ripped tone muscles etc

The toughest part is the meal schedule. On call 24/7, and eating every 3-4 hours is 90% impossible. Might work fine today, and tomorrow might eat every 6-8 hours. That’s my biggest challenge.

I would say that you get yourself a solid meal replacement shake. We have a bunch of recipes that come with our Fit Father Super Fuel Protein. That shake will be perfect on days you have those 6-8 hour spans to give you more consistency.

My husband and I work nights. In the winter half of the year, we work 12 hours, and we sleep from 9AM to 5PM. We cook omelette and veggie breakfast when we wake up, eat whole fruit at first break, good lunch at 1:30am, and snack at 5:45 am. We don't eat when we get home, because we have to shower and go straight to sleep. So we eat 4 times a day, 2 main meals, and 2 quick snacks. I usually look at what needs to be eaten over the course of a day and divide it between the 4 feeding times. What food categories does your team recommend we eat at each of the 2 meals and 2 snacks?

what do you think about counting calories along with assembling a meal? I also do Intermittent fasting, mostly one meal a day. I also use the TDEE calculator to track my calories I need daily and weekly. I fell off for a couple months but I'm starting again today. I was down like 23 lbs by doing this

I would love it if you could offer a VEGAN version of this diet strategy. I really enjoy your workout stuff, but I definately want to stick with my current diet, which is working wonders for me in every category of physical fitness and health so far... I can figure out many substitutes myself, but it would be a great side/alternative plan for you to offer and really break specifics down for those of us who are so inclined in our ethics/eating habits. If this is actually the case... it's definitely not fat... it's a mix of water retention and bloat. There's likely some foods in your eating plan that are NOT agreeing with your body... and it's possible you're overeating on calories. Hey Hoagie, thanks for writing in and great question! It's probably not as simple as singling out one type of food. Choosing options such as brown rice OR wild rice can provide energy-producing complex carbs to help you crush your workouts...which in turn can help boost T levels...helping you sleep better...which also boost T levels, etc. So as long as consuming in moderation and in an effort to help fuel your activity, you should be safe with any of those options. -The FFP Team

What's important is to eat at approximately the same time everyday. You can eat earlier if you wake up early. But if you do, you should push forward/backward your entire eating schedule. Example eat between: 1pm-3am.

Just stumbled onto this channel and like what I have seen so far. I like the food plan except in my view it should have more focus on vegetables. Plant based diets are healthier and do provide good sources of protein that allow muscle growth. Please cover at some point.

We have plant based videos on the channel too Kent! Search vegetarian on our channel. We are HUGE proponents of a diet filled with tons of fresh veggies and organic fruits paired with protein sources (plant based in many cases). 💪🏼👊🏼

And again, everybody burns fat differently. My plate would look like, 8.oz ribeye with all of its healthy fat, for first half. Second half would have 1/2 cup boiled yellow squash and a small dinner salad with lemon juice. No sauces , No seasonings. Sauces & seasonings make ya want to eat more.. And don't forget, more carbs & sugars of all kinds make ya have cravings. Less of that stuff, equal less or no cravings.. Just my observation for me.. Right now I don't crave any foods what so ever.. Have a great day, any loose that FAT Stomach guys....

My bday today so i cheated.. had a spicy double beef burger with cheese at McDonald's for lunch.. normally, ill eat my chicken breast with broccoli and some low fat yogurt

can oats mixed with 1-2 scoops of whey protein and nuts make an adequate breakfast or are oats not recommended as a carb source ?

Firdaus Merchant I believe oats are a fantastic carb source! Make sure it’s either steel cut or rolled oats. My breakfast every morning is rolled oats with whey protein and natural peanut butter. Excellent preworkout meal.

Thanks for writing in and great question. Ezekiel is actually a very quality product that can help in your endeavors. Although there are two legumes, they are a sprouted legume, which are lower in anti-nutrients and are of a lesser detriment than eating non-sprouted legumes. Ezekiel bread is actually higher in protein and lower in carbs, and are made of slower-releasing carbs to help provide energy without the blood sugar spike. But even though some legumes can increase phytoestrogens, the amount you'd have to eat vs. the amount of T levels that are decreased are quite negligible. -The FFP Team

When you are shopping for sardines in the supermarket look for kippers or smoked fish. They come in cans like sardines but larger. Here in Canada we get Brunswick brand kippers and golden smoked fish. They are excellent for breakfast as a change from bacon or ham, have some scrambled eggs, kippers, whole wheat toast and marmalade with a cup of English breakfast tea. Delicious. They can be eaten for other meals, I just had golden smoked kippers and brussels sprouts fried in butter for supper.

You really don’t need to work out too much it is more your diet honestly you can work out once a week that’s it but as long as your Diet is right you’re good to go because I’m going to tell you this you could do all the working out you want you’ll still get sick but if you eat right you’ll never gain weight and you’re barely get sick
