I'm not a video editor. The camera is either always in my way or my fat ass is in the camera's way. This is just some random video and pics of me replacing the 2 spinner bearings and maximizing the belt alignment. In my opinion the design could certainly be better but the possible problems are amplified by not being put together/adjusted well from the manufacturer. This season when I got to my 1st sanding job I kept getting CP code a few seconds after the unit was turned on and seemed to work fine until the code popped up. I found extra force was required to spin the spinner shaft. I've always been real good about keeping both spinner shaft bearings greased but again in my opinion the factory bearings are junk in that the bearings they installed aren't meant to be used in such a dusty/dirty and corrosive environment/application. The new bearings use rubber seals. The seem to hold grease much better and I can assume the seals will keep junk out. I think between bad bearings, crappy belt alignment, and the load of sand/salt falling on the spinner, the module detects excess spinner motor current draw and sets the code. I could be totally wrong. Who am I?
