Not all of BC Ferries’ ships are double ended. The two Spirit class vessels, the Queen of New Westminster, the Northern Expedition, the Northern Adventure, and the Northern Sea Wolf are all conventional, single bow and stern vessels, as are a couple of their smaller ferries, like the Tachek and the Quadra Queen II. They all have to turn around at one end of their routes.

All of you riders planning on using the Canadian Ferries NEED to CALL the Canadian Ferry and COMPLAIN, I did many times and they are now changing the ridiculous fees they charge for motorcycles, our bikes to not take as much square footage as a car, yet they claim they charge per square footage, WELL, it should be LESS, not MORE and they range from $500 to $1,200 ONE WAY on the Canadian Ferries. The Ferry Management are receptive to bikers IF YOU CALL THEM. They are now planning to LOWER their fares for motorcycles. Most riders are avoiding the Ferries, till they lower their prices. Call their 800 number and VOICE YOUR OPINION. Thank you!
