Yea so true. It took me a long time to deal with eating fat after being vegan for 10 plus years. I think people who haven’t had meat in long time might do better first being on lions diet so it’s easy on stomach. Ruminate animals just seem to be easiest to deal with at first before adding everything else. It took me almost a year until I was able to digest eggs without issues. The reason I switched over was because I was going to the bathroom 30 times a day and lions diet worked out best for me at the time now I do carnivore. Carnivore is expensive but cheaper than eating junk food all day and sugar drinks. Plus less doctors lol. I love that you’re putting out more videos more often. Good info. I don't know how people go straight carnivore, but more power to them. Not drinking in the morning but waiting is probably a good idea and something I do. The body seems to like not being constantly taxed with handling both food or water. Makes sense, energy and resources can be spent doing something more beneficial than dealing with a snack or some gulps of liquid constantly coming down the pike that in total are not all that beneficial. If I'm hungry I eat, if I'm thirsty I don't sip but drink a glass of water relatively quickly.

Thanks mate , great to see you back on your feet and looking good! I have a question please :-) What are your thoughts on gut health and carnivore. Before I started on the keto/carnivore journey I had some issues with gut. I live in asia and got into the asian food lifestyle and also almost vegitarian, so naturally i had problems that I was not able to solve without addressing food input. What are your thoughts on microbiomes and probiotics and also on healthy bacteria from fermented foods such as saurkraut also Keffir/yogurt. Recently I had a bit of a slip back in the diets area and skin issues flared up and what I have seen so far in the carnavore/keto videos arena is that skin issues are gut related . Im almost all the way back on carnavore now with main culprit rice with soup and what is called Nasi Jingo which is a rice portion with a little meat or fish. Really appreciate if you could share your thoughts and experience as you have a more hands on view than most. Blessings mate! Glad to see you well and happy! Carl :-)

Cider apple vinegar (with mother) fixed indigestion for me (although it is admittedly not carnivore). I make it palatable thus, approximately: 20ml cider apple vinegar; 20ml lemon juice; 75ml fizzy ginger ale; 75ml water. It should have powdered ginger and powdered cinnamon as well but I can't be bothered. It sounds crazy, being acidic, but acid closes the stomach valves and speeds digestion. It costs very little to try, and it beats all antacid tablets etc.

Hey Kent, I realize we can't possibly pack everything into one vid - but I didn't hear "make sure you avoid PUFA" (and probably MUFA). Now I understand and am not at all jumping on you. I support you. But PUFA oil - soy oil, canola, corn oil and so on - is as far as I'm concerned industrial waste. Toxic sludge. Very harmful. I know you know this, but I want to make sure viewers know. Soooo many people here where I live tell me "oh, I don't eat any soy oil or that - what did you call it? Poofy?" ... and at the risk of being rude to them, I say "yes, you do." And then I apologize for getting in their face about it, but I insist it's only to help - pls forgive me. And after a few questions (about how much they eat out or at fast food joints - how much store bought salad dressing and mayo they eat - how much processed box food they eat and so on) - I'm able to show them where they eat quite a bit of soy oil and other pufa. And they always say "but I really don't eat that much." At which point I say "But I don't eat that much rat poison anymore - or I've cut way back on my cyanide intake - why on earth eat any of this toxic garbage at all?" And I can't help it, as nicely as possible I point out that they're eating far more than they realize or will admit. Please understand, I say, I was just like you not long ago, in denial and wondering why I was so sick - so don't feel bad. I'm only being a jerk to help you see the reality of your situation and to get you to a place where you have far, far less inflammation - which can be deadly over time. I've yet to have someone hit me in the face - hahah - but maybe that's cuz God gave me a thick skull and they realize they might hurt their hand - :D. I think I need to work on my persuasion tactics, but I have gotten through to some people. And at least I'm not cowering in fear of hurting someone's feelings and am trying to help my fellow human beings. When I went off PUFA, my migraines stopped. That got my attention and gave me the power to combat and face head-on my horrible carb addiction and go keto, which has saved my life. Am now carnivore, tho a bit dirty some days. Am doing great, however. MUFA - olive oil, avocado oil, is probably also harmful. When I tell people this, they react with shock. It's been sold as some sort of health elixir. But if we cook with it, it can break down into ROS just like PUFA. And in the US over 50% of olive oil sold in stores is estimated to be doped with soy oil or other cheap PUFA. Horrible. And how do you know if your olive oil is safe or not? You don't. Avocado oil, I bet is similar. If a man wants to make money by cheating (and harming people), and there's no real consequence from being caught - and it looks like no one is even investigating this - they (having no souls apparently and not fearing God) cheat. And cause great harm all for a little money. I really don't like this. I use lard, bacon fat, butter, and homemade beef tallow. If people want to know why MUFA like olive oil is suspect and may be harmful, pls go spend some time w Dr. Paul Mason, who is awesome. He talks about what he calls "fake" plant cholesterol - really phytosterol - and how he thinks it substitutes our animal-based and appropriate cholesterol - counterfeits it so to speak - and probably causes us harm to great harm. And of course, being Dr. Mason, he backs his claims up with tons of documents and study references - probably good quality studies. He's thorough and very disciplined and honest, as far as I can tell. And clearly I like him, though people should spend time with him and form their own opinions. Kent, your other points were all very well said and quite good. Cheers!
