I was so happy to hear that you're looking forward to being a mother someday. I think it's all about the attitude. I lost my first two kids and then got pregnant again all within one year. I thoroughly enjoy being a mom. I didn't have a stay at home mom and no father, basically raised myself. I decided then if I was to ever have children I wanted to raise them. It was the best decision I could've made besides getting married. I always look at everything in numbers. I see every summer, Christmas etc as how many do I have with him or have left and really try to be present and enjoy the limited time I have to raise him. Being a mother is a blessing, not a burden and can be easy if you look at it the right way. Definitely do what feels right, I rocked my son to sleep every night, against many peoples advice and he was an amazing sleeper right off the bat. I always played him music to sleep with and took him everywhere. He's had maybe six occasions with a sitter and he's now fourteen. He's a kind and loving teenager, loves ketovore. Everyone asks him at school why he brings steak for lunch so often, he laughs and says because I can. We don't waste money o snacks and junk, so it makes having good meats easier.

It’s sweet to hear women talking about how they enjoy motherhood. All I hear today is how difficult it is to be a mother, how much a burden, women who regret it, lost out on life, etc. I know deep down I want to have children but these constant messages make me feel like maybe I’m wrong, maybe I’m too old fashioned and naive. Thanks for sharing your experience

I have 5 kids and love it all. The chaos, the hugs, the kisses and the late nights holding children. My oldest and 11 and youngest turned 2 yesterday and she's sleeping in my arms right now. Bella! You are a beautiful person …and will make a great mother! But, how do you get soooo much food in ??? And, eating practically the same food daily would even be more of a challenge to eat that much of it! Is that really how much our body needs ? I am newly subscribed and very curious whether this way of eating would cure my insomnia and blah feeling !!! I am 73 yrs young . Just had a double hip replacement , Used to be 5’5 tall but now the scale says 5’3/4 “ . I weigh 170 lbs. But, overall, am pretty healthy . I would love to lose 20 lbs but being a sugar addict all my life can’t seem to bring the weight down. Since 2022 started feeling osteoarthritis pain in my hips ( thus the double hip replacement ) and now my shoulder and knees seem to be starting up. The HR was a blessing as that resolved a lot of my hip/leg pains but not getting deep sleep night after night is running my body down . My friends say I would look great if I lost the weight . I want to feel great aside from look great ! Therefore, very curious about going carnivore.

You should find, after your body gets accustomed to the new diet, that joint pain should go away or at least be significantly reduced (I used to feel pain in my hips after walking longer distances, but no longer do) and sleep should be very satisfying. Skin condition should improve, e.g. acne, fungus, etc. WRT cravings for sugar and carbs in general, if you make sure to eat enough fat you should see those cravings stop.

I love your channel, your recipes and your personality 😊 After putting up nearly 30 kilos over the last 3 years for no apparent reason, I really had nothing to lose but to try out how will carnivore lifestyle affect me. Despite facing a lot of negativity by my family and peers , literally been labelled "crazy" for not eating veggies and fruits, I am 10 days in and already noticed some differences. My bloating has gone, no more swelling in my ankles, my mood and energy levels are great, and my cravings are reduced to almost 0 , even though as a chef, I am surrounded by temptations all day, every day . However, looking at your meals and portion sizes , I get to wonder how come if I eat a medium sized ribeye I don't feel like eating anything for the whole day . I am quite active all day long and I wonder if this undereating might slow my metabolism down. Should I forcefully introduce more food or what would be your advice? Thank you ❤

@@joellee6142 When one has body fat to lose, then it helps to limit dietary fats somewhat or the body won't need to burn it's stored fat. OTOH, you would still want to have enough fat for hormone production, tho', and to keep stools soft. Inadequate fat on a carnivore diet can lead to very hard stools! But to gain weight, if you are seeking weight through both muscle and fat, would probably be best accomplished by increasing resistance training and protein intake; spreading your food intake out over several meals, to keep insulin high (it's a fat storage hormone that will prevent your body from being able to burn body fat); eating all the calories you need and then some; and including some healthy fruits, because the fructose will go straight to the liver and be converted into fat. OR you could try what I did for several years, which worked great for increasing my weight: eat lots of processed and fast foods and salty chips! I wouldn't recommend it, tho'. I'm still trying to recover. 😂😟

I just made a comment regarding portions. I think many carnivore women eat way too little food. I watched a what I eat in a day video by 5 minute body and all she ate in one day was 6 oz ground beef, 2.5 whole eggs, 3 egg yolks and a butter coffee. I’d starve with just that, even if it’s high-fat. I need high volume, too. I need 140 g protein a day, there is no way that little food has 140 g protein. I’d need way more meat and eggs. When I eat just beef, I eat about 700 g a day.

I have never seen pork belly that I recall though my grandfather raised Angus beef and processed his own. I have to have my bacon done, not "stretchy" or it makes me nauseous; to me, it isn't cooked. Same with visible fat on any meat, can't hack it, but I've been ketovore for years now. I have limited foods I can tolerate. I can't eat meat off the bone, never ate chicken wigs or thighs, only chicken breasts growing up. We have our own chickens for eggs and eat those almost daily, fried or scrambled in butter. We eat a lot of ground beef bowl (grassfed local beef in our freezer) with different seasonings, sometimes a sprinkle of cheese and sour cream. Heavy cream in our coffee because neither of us can stomach anything close to black coffee. Butter in coffee makes me throw up if I have it first thing in the morning. I guess my food choices are limited, but many eat very few different foods on carnivore so I guess lack of variety is not an issue. I'm hypothryroid and have been plateaued for a couple of years since a tree fell on me and broke my left leg, not sure that is related to being stuck. Just have 10-15 lbs to lose and I'm done, but my body has reshaped itself and at 66, I have a lot more lean muscle than I did in my 30's. Mostly, we eat beef, pork, bacon, butter and eggs, some heavy cream in our coffee and a bit of cheese, maybe blueberries off our bushes in season. It does work! (if I could only get my poor disabled veteran husband to stop falling prey to sweets and fast breaded foods in the freezer sections of the store just because he sees a yellow sale sticker and is in pain and wants comfort, LOL). ~Cynthia

Also a particular event made me do an intense research online... Maybe you could share tour thoughts on this ?!? As I was rushing while shaving my legs in the shower, I cut myself on the knee. No biggie, the biggy was that it wouldnt stop bleeding....after 30 min, an hour even 2 hours 😨. Yep, I kept bleeding for 2 whole hours even if I d put pressure for a while to help the clogging. Nop nada ...Was so scary situation. So went online and found out that vitamin k1 (leafy greens) plays an important role to help blood clogging etc... And that's when I decided to add supergreen powder (K1 supplement) in my diet, then added fruits to fuel my gym sessions.

I've never been a hot liquid drinker. Why do you drink hot water? I drink warm water while working straight midnights, but cold water any other time. Is there a difference?

Hot or warm water is supposed to help with digestion and is easier for our bodies to absorb and hydrate from.

@@bythebeachful yes she can, but this amount of food a day is for an outdoor male construction worker. Not sustainable, if every human was to eat this quantity there wouldn't be enough food. Just because she CAN eat so much, doesn't mean she should. She does nothing all day and eats all this food omg, wasted.

Hi!I just started doing carnivore diet it’s only been two weeks and I most say it’s not easy.for 3 days my body was not feeling to good I feel sick and tired.but after 5 days I feel little better i don’t crave sweet and rice cuz I eat a lot of carbs.now I’m feeling better still adjusting to eating more meat I’m going to menopause and i have a lot of allergies so hopefully with this lifestyle it will help me 🙏🏻I watch a lot of people that doing this eating lifestyle and I feel confident that I can do the same thing.thank you for all the information ❤

I loved this! I don’t know how you ate that much I’m 49 and trying carnivore for 8 weeks now and I eat far less and can’t get past my original 10 pound loss…possibly it’s peri menopause causing trouble or maybe I’m not eating enough. So frustrating can’t figure it out. Looking forward to this series your doing! 🥩

I’m 49 and been Carnivore 5 months with same problem Until I started testing glucose & ketones with Keto-Mojo & followed the macros for me. It was less on protein & more fat. And I did OMAD (one meal in the morning) which Dr. Boz says helps insulin resistant people. I loss 3 lbs last week. So I wish I could eat like Bella but this absolutely did not work for my body. Keep going and hope you get some results soon.

Same for me. I’m 56 and while I eat more than I did while eating keto, I don’t eat nearly as much as Bella and I’m not losing weight. I’ve tried changing to higher fat and still no change. Not sure what I need to do. 🤷🏻♀️
@TheBookofDonna

@@RachelN-ft5zuDo you know how many calories you eat? Before tracking macros I was only having around 1200-1500 calories a day, but have increased to around 1900-2000 a day and I still can’t seem to lose the last 10 lbs.
@RachelN-ft5zu
Жыл бұрын
@@TheBookofDonna Yes, mine are 102g fat, 61g protein, 1242 calories. I’m 5’2. I tried going higher like 1450-1700 and I stayed the same weight or went up 2-3 lbs. And I also measured my body and loss no inches in 5 mo. So doing OMAD and the macros above is the only progress with weight I’ve had. And I don’t eat dairy except 1 TBsp butter a day. Don’t lose hope. It seems a lot of us are struggling, so it may take a bunch of trial & errors before we figure how to make it work for us. 🌿

Hi from Norway. I really want to do this ,but i find it scary to eat so much. Will i gain weight doing this ? I eat a very low carb diet plus intermitten fasting. I find that the tiniest carb i eat makes my body hurt and i get so tired. If someone here could give me som tips i be forever grateful ❤

I've done carnivore for 7 months and feel awful. Disabled bad before anyway. My stomach doesn't tolerate hardly any food and I bloat and no bm for 3 weeks or more. Eggs, butter, ground meats, chicken, turkey, can't eat enough. My face has been broken out in red rash for about 5 months. Throat feels like something there and tastes is strange

I keep getting conflicting info. I've heard: "Don't drink anything for 30-60 minutes before a meal. Don't drink anything during a meal. And don't drink for at least 30 minutes after a meal. All the water dilutes stomach acids making your digestive process less efficient. Poorly digested food can contribute to fat gain." Is any of this true? It SEEMS to make sense, especially on a carnivore diet. Thoughts?

oh dear, so I did the 200 food blood test and I have 2 foods out of 200 that reacted and were classed as HIGH (Note: ranges are HIGH - avoid at all costs, extreme risk of inflammation; MODERATE - avoid, but dont panic if you ingest as long as its low amounts infrequently; and LOW - eat and enjoy). Drum roll. The 2 were egg whites and cows milk - yep!!! So no butter or eggs for me. Yeah, I can do the yolks but geez man! I love meat but the extras make it interesting and provide a little variety. Gutted!!!!!!
