How long did it take you to get to that point? It's been a few months since I've found out but it still actually depresses me to even eat now. I've gone from being a big foodie, loving all things from pasta to sandwiches, to hating the time when meal time arrives because I just feel horribly sick afterwards

Emmy Garlock same but I think about Pringles and Maltesers and other foods I miss. I've been like this for almost a year, and I still get annoyed. At school, people are like "look what happened to my Pringles! They're ruined!" Basicly, the first crisp was broken. Shut up with your "oh no my Pringle cracked I can't eat them now!" Some people I can't trust, some try to make me eat gluten to see what will happen. Once, a kid shouted in class "IF YOU CANT EAT GLUTEN YOU CANT EAT THIS!!!" as she waved a chocolate cake roll in her hands.

Thanks for this video, after 7 years of persistent welling of my hands, feet, tongue and face. The last 3 years a full rash on my legs and thighs. Various doctors, clinics and specialists could not give a definitive reason for the rash nor the swelling in my body. One Dr. concluded that the rash is due to bed bugs. Piggy backing on Dr's. I had years ago, who cut me off of sugar and warned about the acid in my body. Only recently did I realized that the inflammation in my body is the culprit and source of the rash. An hour ago I had 1 small piece of cracker, the rash flared and triggered the itch again. My legs, thighs and arms are in a mess with dark spots. I cannot do flour at all. Your video is the first video I looked at to learn about eating gluten free meals. Thanks for the introduction and all valuable information on gluten meals.

I am both gluten and dairy intolerant. I became dairy intolerant at 16 and gluten at 26. It was definitely hard at first because of feeling "deprived" but I have learned to eat more veggies and fruits and I feel 1000x better!! Sometimes I'll make myself a snack and my husband will love it as well! He actually enjoys gluten/dairy free food better than food filled with it. 😀

iheartsummer87 yeah (I know I'm late but) for me because of medical problems (something called EOE and also Celiac Disease) I have to eat gluten free as well as meat free and both of those are fairly recent things, I think I've been meat free for just under a year and gluten free just for about two weeks so far since I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. For me that will be especially hard because my family is allergic to a lot of nuts and soy and fruits and vegetables so I don't know whattt I'm gonna eat lol, or where I'm gonna get my nutrients and vitamins and minerals and stuff like that lol. Hopefully we'll find a way though

Two months ago I was diagnosed with Celiacs Disease. Changed the way I eat for the rest of my life! So now I'm stuck with this forever.. not going to go away. I eat basically like this daily. For a while the bread I was eating was extremely hard and wouldn't last but 4-5 days.. strange! So I'm now switching other things and freezing some things that I want for later. My husband didn't want me to do this alone so he's joined in. Very happy wife but I told him he really didn't have to. He didn't want me to be going through this by myself 🥰 I don't know another person in my circle or anyone we know from outside that has this so I rely on what I see or read from the real articles or foundations. Love your videos tho☺️ Thank you for posting!!!

I am also gluten-free and I also use to binge when I was a lot younger which led to me getting diagnosed with an autoimmune disease a few years back. I am currently on a diet and was suppose to be since the diagnosis but it is very challenging, especially when your family is not on this lifestyle. I would love to try baking all those foods but the problem is most of them contain egg, another food-type I'm allergic to including diary but.. I am now really at the point of being D.O.N.E with symptoms and brain fog etc. Thank you so much for this video Cambria. Yes! Especially if you go gluten free and then buy a lot of processed gluten free food which is often more full of sugar than foods that include gluten naturally. The occasional health benefits of being gluten free come not from being gluten free exactly, but from the fact that by cutting out gluten you also end up cutting out extraneous carbs and sugary food that has gluten in it.
@tz6100

you can be gluten free by eating whole grains, instead of going for gluten-free processed food. That is where I believe there should be a barrier, since yes, eating gluten free processed foods are probably worst for you than normal gluten-ful foods.

I am now in college researching our disease, please make sure to mention that people who have symptoms or at high risk (more women than men) should be screened and people who do not have celiac disease still need the normal nutrients that we cannot have, so most people should not go on a gluten free diet completely! xoxo from Illinois! Sanne that's pretty much how my experience goes but I have not been tested yet. I eliminated gluten over a year ago and now regret not getting tested first. Will do soon but I'm cringe thinking I have to eat it or have it in my system to tell. The rashes are what really get me too. They last for months. And my stomach burning aches seemed to worsen as I had babies and was breastfeeding so I'm not sure if hormones have an effect on those type of things coming out more. I am a celiac and a student studying to become a dietitian. I just have a couple points I want to mention because there is quite a bit of misinformation in this video. Although I love that you give food inspo and ideas for those who are GF, you should consider doing some more research. One thing, collagen actually IS a protein. When your body breaks down protein, it breaks it into amino acids, your body then uses those amino acids to build whichever proteins your body needs. So your body may or may not build collagen. Also, gluten is found in wheat, BARLEY AND RYE. Super important, this means you cannot consume barley, malt etc. Also, if you do not have celiac disease or a gluten intolerance there is no need for you to eat GF. You should always get tested before you cut our gluten to ensure you have a more accurate test. DO NOT SELF DIAGNOSE. As celiacs we have a very hard time avoiding cross contamination because people dont really understand how serious celiac disease is. Make sure to do your research and talk to your doctor. The gluten free diet will not help you lose weight, but it can contribute to nutrient deficiencies!! Its not trendy! Also many people think its easy to eat at restaurants if youre GF but if youre celiac it is horrible and extremely anxiety causing. Many people dont even realise there is a difference between how celiacs and people avoiding gluten have to eat

I've been gluten free for a while now. I never know what to get at a restaurant and sometimes I definitely feel deprived because I'm sensitive to it also. This video definitely helped! Thank you so much!

So I have been having really really bad eczema break outs all over my body and it’s starting to get super embarrassing. So I talked to my doctor and they mentioned cutting out gluten and all honesty I’m terrified and am so unsure of what to eat or do. I just need something to guide me so thanks a bunch for that advice and I would so love more!!

I’ve been gluten free for three weeks now. I’ve always had digestive irritation and felt blah after eating and I never new what it was from. I’ve recently had a lot of issues with iron and vitamin levels and so while they were testing they tested me for celiac. And from the day they tested me I just stopped eating gluten. The test came back negative, so I don’t have celiac but I’ve just found that I feel better and don’t have the same stomach cramping and digestive upset after eating anymore. And we’ve found food that my siblings like as well so while they’re not gluten free we can all eat the same thing when we sit down for a meal.

The food looks so yummy, I’ve had celiac disease for 36 years and it really is manageable I’m the only person I know who has celiac disease but my family mainly eats gluten free on account that I’m the only one who cooks..lol great video!

I live in Scotland and was diagnosed with Ceolliac by my doctor about 5 years ago. I had been feeling depressed, was irritable and taking panic attacks. I couldn't understand what was going on in, but since I have been on a gluten-free diet, I feel a whole lot better; but I have to admit that I do have a sweet tooth. The only thing that annoys me is, why are store-bought products so much more expensive. Thanks for showing this video and helping me to understand better. Best wishes from Bonnie Scotland... Gordon Taylor.

I had to switch to gluten free as soon as my bloods came back. However, you get used to it and we are lucky there is more awareness arounf this and many resteraunts do gluten free now. I know how you feel about missing certain foods at the beginning I still get like that sometimes, however, as you said you can make so much.

I have been so obsessed with your videos since I discovered you last week, I have been on a gluten free diet for about 18 months. I find that my body doesn't like it when I slip up from time to time and eat something with gluten in it. I have Hypothyroidism and was recommended to go on a gluten free and dairy free diet, I can have a little greek yoghurt in moderation but any other dairy sets my stomach off. I love watching all your videos you are amazing..

Going GF changed my life! I was so sick for so long and had no idea why. I saw some of your videos and thought maybe gluten was causing it. I went to the doctor and that is exactly what was making me sick. Thanks for the tips :)
