Magnetism is the ability of an object to attract an object that is around it. Magnets can also be made from iron, steel and other metal alloys. there are 3 ways to make magnets, namely rubbing a fixed magnet, induction, using an electric current. magnets are used daily for loudspeakers, compasses, bicycle dynamos.

Is the coil directly plugged into the mic input of the amp or is it energised too? Sorry, can't see that on the video.

electrons dont physically spin or do they?
@112Pornofreak
7 жыл бұрын
no they dont, or at least we cant observe them doing it, but we can see the effects of the spin
@ISLAMguidanceful

Hey Pornofreak, can you just explain a little further what effects we witness prove the existence of a spin?
@112Pornofreak
7 жыл бұрын
to be honest i cant explain it in detail, but the idea of spin (or intrinsic angular momentum) was first made by physicists in 1925, a couple of years later the mathematics behind it was developed, and it was and still is used as a fundemental part of quantom mechanics. the simplest way we can observe spin is in magnetism, where you can prove that the atom does have spin, through the generation of a magnetic moment, but even though you can prove it you cant actually see it spinning. sorry for the bad english(danish) and sort of incomplete answer but thats the best ive got :/
@ISLAMguidanceful

actually i was thinking of something along the lines of a physical consequence that we witness on a macro scale level that can prove the spin, but then i always thought on a quantum level there are completely different laws of physics that don't necessarily explain what we say with the naked eye. btw your English is perfect man thanks for your answer!!

He talks about science like we could get in trouble over him telling us about it. It's cool. It's also remarkable that he was able to get a worse and worse mic for each scene. That last part vibrated my brain with bone conductive headphones on. That was a novel experience. Kinda like having someone dig your belly button real hard as your getting one of those deep probe covid tests whilst licking a 9 volt battery. I still don't know what the fuck a magnet is though.
