There are many different forms and approaches to meditation, and they range in purpose from seeking to simply improve health and wellbeing to becoming more effective and capable in life to making possible better quality relationships to spiritual growth, development and awakening.
In this video, I explain meditation within the context of spirituality, and also caution against approaches to meditation that are incongruent with its ultimate and noblest goal, to come to know one's Lord and Creator.
What is meditation? In its most basic, essential and fundamental form, it is nothing other than pure surrender through relaxation and simply being with your breath. It is learning to let go, relax and relinquish resistance so as to surrender and submit the self, and thereby awaken to a greater possibility of consciousness.
