In this video, we explain pacing. Pacing is a method of energy and activity management developed for ME/CFS in the 1980s by ME/CFS researchers and patients. The goal of pacing is to prevent individuals from exceeding their energy limits and worsening symptoms.
Pacing is not a therapy, it is simply used to stop the downward spiral associated with exertion as best as possible.
The video is from the German ME/CFS Society and Long COVID Germany. Experts from Charité Berlin and TU Munich assisted us with this video. For the post-production, the agency QREATE supported us on a donation basis.
