Hello
In this Episode, Clare takes you around a full, in depth tour of all of her growing spaces, showing you everything growing and giving you an understanding of the huge amount of work she has in order to maintain and improve the gardens and kitchen garden of The Farmyard Garden.
We start on the vegetable garden, which is laid out as raised beds with a 20ft x 12ft polytu nnel and a 4 sq metres fruit cage, with the plot laid out very much in an allotment style with woodchip paths.
Clare then moves to the original home main garden, to show you the greenhouses and what’s growing in this space, including potatoes, sweetcorn and sunflowers. The main garden has a few overgrown areas that need tackling this summer, including areas with invasive pernicious weeds, such as ground elder.
Clare finishes up by quickly showing you her smaller family garden and dog area exercise garden.
There’s a lot of garden for one little vertically challenged woman to try to maintain. It’s almost a full time job, and it’s still not enough!
It is also Clare’s KZitem anniversary! One whole year of KZitem! Who would have thought the journey would lead to almost 2800 subscribers and a community of gardening friends both on screen and off screen to share tips, advice and just support each other. What a wonderful journey it’s been.
During the plot tour Clare shows you some snippets of footage of how the gardens have been transformed in the 12 months since she started her KZitem channel. It’s been A LOT or work but the rewards are enormous now. Clare’s loving every minute of being the owner of her garden and is looking forward to another 12 months of KZitem, building more connections with you.
Thanks for watching. If you aren’t subscribed, Clare would love for you to join the journey and hit that subscribe button.
