Summer is here and there is lots of cool basic pieces I want to highlight in my store. These pieces and brands I touch base on are great for both younger and older guys and are perfect for a wardrobe refresh.
First, I wanted to showcase the highly popular wainscott short from the men’s clothing brand Greyson Clothiers. This stylish short is made of a poly blend that is a crisper fabric and provides a look that can be easily dressed up or down. The Greyson Clothiers wainscott short has a masculine tailored fit without it being too snug. Color wise these bottoms come in oat (the khaki color) and maltese (the navy-blue color). These shorts are the perfect basic to mix and match with any outfit and are defiantly a home run!

Moving over to the G/Fore brand it is easy to recognize them by some of their louder prints and colors but they also carry simpler colors that I love. These include a light blue, a medium cool tone grey, as well as a fresh pink color. G/Fore may not be the first brand that comes to mind when looking for simple and clean polos, but these colors are very handsome and perfect when you want to look nice and fresh and not super loud and crazy. Another great garment from G/Fore are their tailored men’s pants. The feel and fit of these bottoms are trim without being snug and can flatter guys that may have bigger calves or thighs. They come in a variety of solid colors including a light blue and a light grey color! I am highly impressed with the overall quality and fit of these G/Fore pants and they are an incredibly versatile piece to incorporate into your wardrobe!
A newer brand I have in my store is called No Nationality (NN 07) and one of my favorites is this paul short sleeve polo. Color wise this polo comes in white and navy and is made of pima cotton. Perfect and breathable for the summer months this polo features a johnny collar (with no button). These details create a relaxed yet clean, dressier look. NN 07 does run a hare small so sizing up one size in this brand is recommended. If you love the paul short sleeve polo keep an eye out for the new army green color that will be coming out soon!

Focusing more on pants this men’s brand is called Ballin and strictly makes pants and shorts. From Canada, Ballin has been around for over 100 years and is known for their dressier slacks. With this in mind these pants run on the smaller side, and it’s recommended to size up. This meaning if typically wear a 35 you would be a size 36 in this brand.

I wanted to showcase some sweater polos from a few brands I carry in my store. For a more nautical vibe these striped sweater polos are from the men’s clothing brand Impulso and can spice up any basic outfit. They come in a navy with white stripes and a white with navy stripes with a relaxed johnny collar. Another sweater polo that recently came in is a wool linen blend sweater polo from the brand Greyson Clothiers. This polo has a dressier collar and is light and breathable without being shear.

Lastly to pair with the sweater polo I recommend this black techno ultimate short in the drummond fit from the men’s pants brand Ballin. These shorts feature a tech poly blend and a little bit of a shorter inseam that has a nice look for both dressy and more casual events.
