There are although few, boxers who retired undefeated and achieved more winning streaks than May and you never see them boast about it. I'm sure for most of these legendary boxers losing their 0 was more of a relief for them. Being human, our survival instinct would always be tingling if everything goes right and the longer it last the more anxious and alerted we feel. So much so that back in ancient Rome, the champions are given a Memento Mori or even someone on their back to constantly remind them that they won't be winning forever, all men dies.
