This is GREAT and I eat fresh asparagus a lot lately and broccoli. The gravy would have helped too but I'm realizing my Mom wasn't much of a cook, looking back. She's a terrific cook now and has an awesome recipe collection. Just FYI there is a list called the Dirty Dozen and both are on it. This is the to 12 veggies that get a lot of pesticides so they suggest always buying organic and straight from the farmer if possible. I have a hard time finding organic asparagus so I wish mine very well. They say soaking in a 1 to 10 ratio with organic vinegar and water(not tap). Then rinsing well again. ✌️😁🤙❤️❤️❤️

Later we ended up in the same check out line, and their cart was filled with countless bags, each one filled with one pea pod, one carrot, one strawberry, one green bean. Aside from the look on the cashiers face, who had to weigh each bag, Ill never forget the delight on the babys face and Mom's dedication to healthy eating in a fun way. This poppa has the same spirit. GREAT JOB PARENTS! And to all those parents who volunteer at school functions - YOU ARE AWESOME

@@phantomlegs TU! Btw, starting when my twins were four yo, whenever we visited Grandmas house, my Mom would prepare a platter of a variety of fruit and vegetables for my sons. They loved the "color wheel" of choices; no sugary snacks and drinks, just milk or juice, and so did everybody else. My Mom helped this young Mom start a life long pattern in our family; beautiful platters of healthy fresh food at all functions with mixed dips - the most popular food at reunions, movie night, parties, and graduations - even for my kid's friends. Mom's plattera turned out to be the "wheel of fortune" for me and my kids. Now, at 43 yo, Twin #1 has only TWO cavities, and Twin #2 has zero. My flower child Mom of the 60s had ZERO issues with overweight, everybody was slim and fit - she knew what was good and right for the body... There is nothing "cute" about this video. It's gross. They used a bucket which you normally would use to hold cement. They poured the food all over a table (unsanitary). And they are waisting tons of food by doing this. I hate people that think you need to "do something special" to be a father. I never do this for my kids. I give them a meal on a plate with a fork. I don't care if they don't have super special memories of me dumping potatoes out of a bucket. They will learn to eat properly and also learn that food isn't necessarily supposed to be fun. It's just something you need to survive, just like air. Not everything has to be special for kids

This dad just created a memory that will be tresured for the rest of their lives. And maybe even a tradition to be passed down to the next generations. He is a very creative and loving father. Im sure the mom had a fit, when she saw it. Hopefully she calmed down enough for her kids to enjoy this wonderful moment. 😊

My Mom did this kind of thing for us when me and my bro were little and she was a single parent… She didn’t do this kind of thing on the kitchen counter - however she just made plate sized versions for us! But eating those things like this she made us, are some of the happy memories I have from childhood… these are most def the things kids remember..!

Amen I agree. I have 3 kids, and my youngest is 25. I wanted a grand baby so bad. He & his ex gave me my 1 and only on Nov 27th 2020 2 days b4 my son's birthday. Never did I imagine that the girl would be so spiteful to hate my son so much that she keeps him from both of us😢. Last time I saw him was the day after my birthday, Feb 11th. She wouldn't even let me have him a day early so he could be with me. But I was so thankful I just celebrated the next day with him. Before that, I saw him for a few days on Dec 29th. I'm not trying to be petty with her, but it's time for me to file for my grandparents' rights. Please I need prayers 🙏. I'm sorry I wasn't trying to take anything from this Dad. He is who brought so much ❤️ love when I seen this video. He's an amazing Dad. The dinosaur chicken nuggets I bought 2 weeks ago because my grand baby loves 🦕 dinosaurs. I'm trying to keep them from freezer burn because I don't know when I'll see him again.

@@michelleverrue I totally understand & there’s no need to apologize. For your situation I know someone who also experienced something similar. The mother alienated the child away from its father & his family with overall means to control & manipulate. Only wanted child support & it also seemed she liked the fact that her abusiveness gained a reaction out of him. For almost 10 years the father suffered from a lack of spirit due to the mother’s gaslighting & undermining but fortunately, the man got all his things back together (took him a few years but he did it!), completely stopped reacting to her abuse of “power”, & now he’s in the process of taking her back to court in order for their child to know he didn’t give up on her! True in fact the mother is still very manipulative & emotionally/mentally abusive (to their child as well) but he has more than enough willpower to show that she’s been withholding his parental rights away from him for far too long. And also in my personal opinion, from that mans situation I’ve noticed that “most” modern women these days have a superiority complex, & feel that they are “better than” just because they are female. Now I’m not saying that it was all peaches & herbs for the women growing up in the 50/60’s, but what I am saying is the women of that era knew more of the importance of family, & having both parents in the household for the betterment, & well being of their children. If I were to give anyone any advice who may be going through something like this (man or woman) it would be to first :Clearly make sure they know who the person is before sleeping with them, because everyone shows at least a few green flags, or red flags at the beginning of a relationship. And two: never react to a person who undermines your intelligence & consideration. Because that’s all they want is to gain a reaction from you. Hold your peace, understand that tomorrow is another day, & send love to them because the damage they suffer from is perhaps far more awful than what they claim others to be. I hope that may help you in some way & I wish you well in your path. 🙂🙏🏾💜☮️✨
