Didn’t have this happen to me personally but today my grandma told me a really disturbing story about one of her friends. Said friend was from Germany, and before she immigrated to the US, she was molested by her father not only as a teenager but as a baby. He also hanged her mother by the shirt, and while she was hanging, he got a knife and made several very deep cuts in her arm. He was a member of the Army, so he was faced with either jail time or a dishonorable discharge. Unfortunately he went for the dishonorable discharge. Damn bastard deserves to go to hell. Thankfully both my grandmas friend and her mom are both still alive and well today. But holy shit, I can’t imagine anyone having to go through that. So sad that it happens to some children.

8:40 I think this could be my neighbors. I hear the same thing every night. An insane drunk woman will start banging on the door and screeching at the top of her lungs at the man inside. He'll come out (he always does, I'll never understand why) and they get into a physical altercation. Every. Single. Night. I know there are kids involved. I've even seen her drive off with them both crying in the back of the car, her still very obviously drunk of her ass. I've reported it many times, but nothing ever seems to come of it. 😞

This is a story from when I was around 5 or 6 idk- So when I was around 5/6 in summer my mom had to work, so she left me and my sister at her friends friends house to babysit. my mums friend also had their kid there too and there was another kid there, so it was kinda just a place where we would go for the day like a summer camp or something lol. The guy that lived there was around like, idk, in his late 20's? Anyways, since we were kids we were outside alot. But we didn't have the choice to not be outside. You see, he locked us outside in the backyard with a bowl of water like we were dogs. We Also weren't allowed to go inside. Even for the bathroom. There was a big bush outside that we named the "peeing bush" or something, I really can't remember. But one day I was like "I need to go use the bathroom. I'm not using the Bush this time." So i sneak inside (I honestly don't remember how I think I went threw the window. All I can remember is that I was inside) and I use the bathroom. I then sneak outside again and i don't remember if i got caught but I dont know why I went outside again. We also couldn't drink the water because less then in 5 minutes bugs got in the water. I told my mom that this happened like, a year ago and she asked why we didn't tell her. And honestly, I didnt know why either. Also, one of the kids there was his daughter and the police saw she was home alone and the police took custody of her.

So technically, you can kidnap a child if you find out they're in an abusive home? The child might be reported missing if so... Hmm.
@destroyerinazuma96
Жыл бұрын
@@mhgb1333 That's a complicated situation. Legally what you did is illegal, ethically you might've done the right thing. Problem is you might've done good but it'll last for I don't know, a few days/weeks, cause you can't have the missing child stay under the radar for too long nor have them change identities or something. With the regards to my country's laws the one example I heard was "driver does a sudden turn and ends up messing a shop's front, in order to avoid hitting a child". Destruction of property is justified by avoiding to commit murder. As for kidnapping children of abusers or (a famous one) stealing from the rich to give back to the poor, you might have at best some degree of special circumstances but you'll still get a conviction. My country had a case of a mother killing her abusive husband cause she was afraid he was about to go overboard and actually kill the kids. Of course there was a debate around why had she put up with the abuse for years in the first place, but in the immediate present she was charged with murder and eventually did jail time. Court showed some leniency but no one denied murdering the man was wrong. (Can't recall the exact details but I believe she couldn't just KO him with a heavy object and run with the kids, she felt she had to use lethal force)

After watching this I am so glad I was never confronted with such gruesome stuff. I only babysat once and just because it was an emergency. I really don't qualify as a babysitter since I have zero experience with kids. I did it for the young woman in my house, who's mother was in a car accident and the woman needed to rush to the hospital. She was so desperate that I just said "yeah, I'll do it, go to the hospital", despite having never dealt with children longer than 10 minutes before and the kids just knew me from sight. A five year old and a 6 month old. What could go wrong, right? Turned out it wasn't as bad as I thought. I had to carry the toddler around all the time, because he would cry when I tried to lay him down in his bed. I changed his diaper (that was horrible), fed him, sang to him, read a book, told him a story of my life (very boring)... he just wouldn't stop crying. The five year old refused his mom's mashed potatoes, but had a lot of Nutella for dinner (we both never told her). Both kids ended up sleeping in my arms while I had to watch a ridiculously stupid movie, because I couldn't reach the remote. :D

So this isn’t a babysitting story but rather something I witnessed at my job. I’ll be replacing the little girl’s name for her privacy:) So I work at a craft store and cut fabric for a lot of people. As I was putting something away this little girl turns around (her parents were close by) and she says, “Hi! My name is Madison!” I said, “Hi Madison! Nice to meet you! I’m Willow!” She smiled and was just radiating joy! Then her dad called out in a very rude tone of voice, “Madison!!! Don’t talk to strangers!!!” Now I can definitely see why he said this. This little girl was like 7 possibly. But it took me back that the dad sounded so rude. I smiled at him just to reassure him that I wasn’t going to steal his child and said, “Hehe she’s adorable!” NO LIE HE FREAKIN GLARED AT ME!!! Like I said, I can see why he was telling her not to talk to strangers. This world is cruel and terrifying! Anyway, little Madison went off with her dad but still waved and smiled at me when he wasn’t looking. I, of course, waved back and smiled. Then the wife, their 2 year old son, Madison, and the dad come up to get fabric cut. I start asking them how many yards they want and soon Madison is talking to me and just putting her arms on the table we have in front of the cut table. The dad told her to STOP TALKING AND FUCKING THUMPED HER HARD ON THE BACK OF HER HEAD!!!!!!!!! THE MOTHER DID NOTHING!!!!!!! Madison started to cry slightly and hid behind her mom and these words shattered my heart, “Daddy’s mean.” I’m pretty sure my eyes welled with tears a little. I really hope that they are all okay!!! I saw the mom in the store a few months later without Madison and the dad… tbh I really hope nothing bad is going on in that house:( I know it’s none of my business but this dude RADIATED anger. There’s absolutely no need to THUMP your child on the back of their head for TALKING to a retail worker!!! I just hope he is more patient than what I saw that day. I hope that he doesn’t do that on a regular basis:(

These story's remind me of a kid I remember from my childhood, he would always get in trouble and be on black which was the behavior system to show how you were that day, and I believe it was his grandparents or parents were molesting him and it never occurred that he was how he was because the situation.

I was babysitting a 13yr girl, something I thought was kinda weird was.l they specifically requested a female babysitter and I’m like “lol okay prob for safety or whatever” turns out, they wanted a older female to babysit a younger one because they had straight up. LEFT HER. I mean straight up gone, they said they would be back in a few hours and they were going out on a date. I thought it was weird how there house looked empty but i didn’t care, maybe they were moving soon? Oh they were moving, moving away. I was there for an entire night, i didn’t know how to take care of a kid. The girl wasn’t abused or anything, she seemed fine which is good. Turns out the police found both the mom and dad trying to get on a plane to Canada but they only had there suitcase of stuff, no ID no passport and they couldn’t get on the plane, when the police found them they were screaming at everyone to let them on the plane. *TL;DR: parents had me babysit young girl then tried to move away to Canada* Edit: I was specifically with the kid for about 26-28 hours.

He shouldn't just plain hit his kid especially that hard regardless of if was his or not.
