If we count all the Suttas in the Pali Canon, including the repetition series, we end up with an astounding number of lectures that might be as high as 17500.
While that number is incredibly high, basically all of them concern themselves with the very same topics, namely virtue and the Dhamma.
Yet, even all those Suttas may be further divided into practices concerning cultivation and practices concerning ``deconditioning''.
Today, we try to analyze the differences between those two kinds of practices and try to find out when to do what.
More often than not, people totally mix up active and non-active parts, causes and results.
People misunderstand the practice in many ways.
They confuse active/passive as well as causes and results.
It is usually better to train ``passive'' first so that you can clarify your views successfully.
Right practice does not take much.
Keep clarifying your views of the practice until you become unable to suffer!
