I'm studying to become a teacher in a very different country with an extremely different situation, but every time I hear you talk about yourself and your classroom, you remind me that future exists, and that we should fight for it. You remind me to take care of myself, and I thank you for that. I haven't made a comment on your channel before, and that's because I'm a bit shy when it comes to stating my opinion publicly, but I've been following your journey, and I can definitely say that it has inspired me in lots of different ways. Thank you!

No need to apologize! I am still beyond inspired by your courage to this day. It seems like you have taught me more about self-care over the last 4 years than I have learned throughout my life. I totally agree with how important self care is. I am currently being trained to be a store manager, and it has become nearly impossible for me to take time for myself, as if I feel forced to continue to train and work. I get called in on my days off, and I feel afraid to say "no". I did a great job saying no as a kid lol, but I feel like I can't as an adult, especially with my job. It's even tough for me to mention it to my therapist societies Your views of the importance of our mental health continues to push me to really begin to take care of myself more as I transition into such a big job title. Thank you so much for continuing to shine your light on all of us 💛

So good to hear from you again, certainly miss seeing you. Thanks for the update on where you've been and breaks are needed. I understand this and been there myself, took time away from college last year to focus on my anxiety. Appreciate you being open with everyone Mrs Brittany. I barely know you but can sense your compassion for others. I'm also learning more about mental health and how it affects me plus others. Such a warm presence, glad you're back and excited for more updates.

1) don’t ever feel the need to apologize. 2) you have been through more than most of us can ever imagine. And you are still here. But don’t ever forget those that lost their lives. 3) you got married which is a wonderful thing. 4) you are so darn adorable 5) finally, my mother taught for MANY years. You would have loved her. You would have learned so much from each other. So keep going. And realize how much you are loved. ❤️

I think it’s crazy how you got so much backlash for quitting that year for your mental health and now it feels like so many educators are leaving the profession 😩 EDIT: Also I’m no longer teaching, I left this year but I still love watching and following you because of your bright & bubbly personality! Thank you for always being you 💛

You are precious and I'm so glad I found you! I am returning to teaching this year after taking 3 years off. My last year I taught I was also battling depression after having two miscarriages. I needed to leave teaching so that I could heal. And I did! I've had two girls since then and I feel healthy and ready to get back in the classroom :) I am so excited and ready and your videos have been such a big inspiration

Hi Brittany, I am happy to see you are well and living your best life. I used to be a subscriber in the past. I was a teacher and am now retired. Even though I was an older teacher and you were starting out I got a lot of inspiration from your videos. I signed in to check in and saw that you posted this “check in” video. I wish you continued peace, love and well-being. You are a beautiful light. Your students are blessed to have you. ❤

Yes, please...please Vlog your show. Can you share the title of the show yet? The end of the year is tough, tough, tough! There's so much to do, kids and teachers are done (especially those of us who are responsible for state testing), and Covid is rampant in my school. Right now, at least 20% of staff and students are out (that's on a good day). We have so few subs that if I don't plan a day off WAY in advance and find my own sub, other teachers will have to use their prep time to sub for me. So, I'm back to wearing a mask and social distancing.
