SO …… you got a wee bit of rain have ya?☘That’s going to make your water storage full to capacity! Love that little “crek” you have! Adds some nice sound to the property too! Luckily for me, my 1000ft drive has a nice bed of road base! I will have to go plug some ruts this summer but that’s just how it goes. My property is mostly rocky so I don’t get so much mud. I figure I will have a pile of road base dumped off though just to have. That’s stuff makes a HUGE difference. Fajitas look fantastic (as always)🤭Funny I never thought about how KZitem videos were filmed before I started. You just see a nice continuity of you walking across your property and some don’t realize we have to set up the cameras! 😉 Great relaxing video Ron! And thanks again for the picture! My contractor and I have been messaging back and forth a few days specifically on that project! 🧡

Great video Ron. I'm the guy who sent the patches and Afghan scarves a while back. I just hired a guy for my quality office at the base and he said you were his supervisor at Petersen. Bilbrey says hello.

Glad you’re going to barter some milling/lumber for some food. Hopefully you will seal up your pond before one of these big rains washes it out and exposes your pipe. Stay safe, stay dry!🌞

I love this kind of video. I’m watching from my off grid cabin today. You struck a cord with me about gravel…definitely a large cost. I couldn’t even get to my property until I did major easement road work. All good now after about ten loads of gravel but now it’s fine tuning and maintaining.

You really do in my opinion have one of the best off grid systems on KZitem. You've really lucked out with the friends and helpers you've had with big machinery and you're a smart guy you thinks ahead well. Im wondering since your buildings sit on the ground, do you ever have any trouble with rodents, snakes, or other critters deciding that living under there would be an excellent home? Any thought to getting another dog in the future? Kind of nice to have that companion.

That’s why I don’t skirt them. Nothing will live under there when it’s open. Yes at some point I will get two dogs. I need to build a dog run first. Then bigger animals.👊

Oh Ron, so glad you made a vid! Was wondering/worrying a lil. Knowing the rain that’s come down there. SO HAPPY to see you are A-ok! Your lil river isn’t eroding and you are not flooded! 🤗 Well then, at least everything is getting a good watering. And you and your property are safe! Love the knit cloths! Great to do on rainy days. Blessings to you! 👍

Glad you have the knitting skills to not only make something useful, but to also make good use of your hands and time while the weather does it's thing. The creek sounds amazing and that little walk up there between storms has me all kinds of jealous while I wait on the snow to melt. Be well Ron! Happy 2023!!

We dont live at our place yet and obviously still learning a lot about the lay of the land and the weather patterns. I've moved our panels twice and next trip they're moving again to their final resting place. I'm glad you reminded me about getting a larger gauge wire because now our panels are going to be probably 150-200ft away. Like everything, experiment.... spend money... and learn.

😊😊👍👍 Another great what's happening at Ron's place. Water runoff sure was a good idea with the new path. The improvements are coming along nicely. Solar Gaines are gonna help a lot I'm sure. At my old place, I used to keep a few extra tons of drive gravel around for the same thing, filling holes, add-ons, and regular maintenance. Mmm, fajitas, good stuff. Take care bud, Enjoy.

100% Jealous Ron. Stream is a blessing. My wife just said, " Oh I know you Billy! You'd hit the junkyard and pull an alternator out, build a water turbine and house enclosure for it. " I added, " and a small 12v solar panel + ground rod for the exciter to make it work!" Yeah we're getting hit with way too many cloudy days. My 15 kwh DIY lithium power wall just shut down on us last night. Boom Generator on, and I mickey Mouse my booster jump pack into my dead 12 volt truck battery and jump the 48v system with 24v to get the Big 6k aims inverter to wake up as it see's some power going in and begin auto detection to inverter bulk charge. Dangerous to do? Yeah! Do what you have to with what you got off grid.
