Mum and I are both making a square-in-square scrappy quilt. I make my blocks one-at-a-time. Mum makes her blocks with the chain-piecing method. So I put both methods to the test - which method is faster??
Both methods start with 2 inch strips - whatever fabrics you have left over from other projects. My finished blocks are 4 inch squares, while mum's are slightly larger at 4 1/2 inch squares.
