Garth is one of the greatest showmen of all time. His shows are always high energy. Im not sure who has more fun; the crowd or him All his songs are great. Garth was the reason I started listening to country music! He changed the whole landscape of country. I saw him live 3 times in the 90s and again a few years ago. His concerts are ELECTRIC! The energy is incredible and even after 30 years, he sells stadiums out in just minutes. He took some time off at the height of his career to raise his daughters and stepped back in 10 years later like he never left. He is absolutely amazing! I'd recommend Friends In Low Places, The Dance, Papa Loved Mama, Shameless, The Thunder Rolls ... the list goes on and on. The man has hit songs out the wazoo and his fans will climb over your unconscious body to get to him. Lol. Be careful, though - it's very difficult to find his original music on KZitem and there are some covers out there that are not him.

I saw Garth in concert in '93 at Texas Stadium Dallas. One of the best concerts I've been to. During this song - he flew from the stage, up over 100' in the air, across the stadium, all the way up to the nose bleed section - singing g the whole time!!! You are definitely one of the best reaction youtubers I have run across. It just amazes me that you young people have never heard of these musicians. At least you have an open mind and seem to appreciate ALL genres of music! I think a lot of it had to do with your generation. Sooo much information is available to you! When I was a kid, we had four channels on the television, five if you got your best friend to hold the anntenna and stretch out their hand. FM radio was still new and music came in the form of black vinyl records that skipped if you danced to hard in your room. Music seemed to take a downturn at the end of the 80s. While there are still a few great musicians, most of them sound like cookie-cutter bands with songs that all sound the same. Garth was an exception. Like you, he appreciated what came before and embraced all kinds of music, with country music only at the forefront. He has also done shows with many other famous singers and was honored multiple times. Keep at it kid! You have only scratched the surface! Hawkeye.
