In this interview with James Richmond, local historian, at the Goochland County Historical Society, Michael Trownsell discovers the amazing story behind the "foundation sire" of American thoroughbreds. Born in 1805 in Goochland, Virginia, Sir Archie would later live in North Carolina town of Jackson. While Goochland claims he is buried in their county, Jackson declares that the horse was buried in their town. James Richmond explains what may be the truth.
