in all honestly drea was not even that good of a player. sure she found a bunch of advantages and an idol but she didn’t play any of them correctly. she chose to keep tori over swati pre merge knowing that tori didn’t like her and would likely flip on her post merge. she also completely abandoned romeo post merge to work with a bigger alliance where her and rocksroy were outnumbered by 3 vati(hai, lydia, and mike) and 3 taku(jonathan, lindsey, and omar). she failed at making any close connections with people besides rocksroy and voted whoever that big alliance(mainly omar) wanted out. she also made the dumb decision of telling omar about the knowledge is power advantage failing to realize he was much closer to mike than her. all in all every advantage this girl got went to waste. she failed at the social aspect of survivor. abandoned her closest ally(romeo) to work with people who did not have her best interest. didn’t make any game changing moves and was a merely just a number for omar post merge .

@@hamm8934 it’s the point that black people are already perceived as more threatening overall in society. That’s not anyone’s fault in the show that’s just an implicit bias people hold, not to say that channel and rocksroy didn’t get voted out cause of their bad gameplay but their status as targets is directly linked to being perceived as threatening and in survivor threatening equals threat. It’s the same logic with how big guys get voted out cause everyone assumes they’re intimidating and threatening even if they’re a sweetheart like Mike. I don’t agree with dreas actions at all with the whole Omar situation but marryanne is 100% right this tribal and had good intentions. I fully hearted believe that drea couldnt give two shits about black people going out one after another as long as she personally wasn’t part of the pattern whereas marryanne genuinely did care. @@sideeswipe You can add a modifier to say it wasn't overt racism but instead some elusive subconscious racism, but that is still racism. This is clear as day double think. Either it was influenced/based on race or it wasn't; either it was influenced/based on a guy being big or it wasn't. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Side note, if one cannot control their subconscious bias, then how can they be held accountable for it? Or how can it even be addressed or changed? If it is truly immutable, then why even try to change things?
