I never thought I'd become the vinyl guy. It's expensive, impractical, fragile, requires lots of space, and extremely not minimalist on the surface. But after listening almost exclusively to vinyl records for the past three months and ditching my Spotify subscription, for what vinyl records lack in convenience, they more than make up for in quality. I no longer stream music, and I don't miss it at all. Here's why I listen to vinyl records instead of streaming music as a minimalist.
