Feminism was NEVER a hero, not even an anti-hero. It's based on Marxist theory, so it is by design subversive and destructive because it is parasitic. It cannot exist without a strong central government, which draws all the corrupt and corruptible people to the source of power... To exploit others. Note the feminists aren't looking to join the draft, be plumbers, be roughnecks, mechanics (generally), longshoremen, etc. They want the perceived elan of combat, for example, but they get damaged (injured, BADLY) far more often than males... They love the office, but make it unbearable for each other, let alone men.

@@stellabari246 Ok, I'll address that point The idea that "Women need to be able to fend for themselves, simply because they need to protect themselves against the potential bad man" is based on a flawed understanding of society; only good men can protect women from bad men, and women need men to survive. (hate me for saying it, if you will) Also, braking up the family to be raised by one parent is a very, very flawed idea, no matter how attainable it may be. The data shows both mother and father have roles that can't be properly replaced by each other. So to answer your question; although sadly not a father my self, every father I do know think's their children are the one of the best things in their life. That kind of meaning & love between people is something you won't find at a corporate job. Better learn to clean instead. Disapproves of your husband? Sorry, you gotta marry that doctor he has in mind. Doesn't matter he's 50 yrs old, smelly and balding, just close your eyes in the bedroom i guess... Husband doesn't want you going outside the house? Whoops. At least know what you're asking for before asking for a total loss of all of your personal freedoms for your entire life... this stuff still happens in cultures today and it is not pretty for women. Keeping the hard power of the people we elect to positions of power limited by constitutional limitations on state and federal authority that are universally adhered to (ideally). A persons ability to think critically and analyze behavior is critical here. So practice this as best you can in your own life. Be gently skeptical of people you are expected to obey and follow. On the one hand, the vast majority of society was never as exclusive or domineering as modern stories depict. Sure, there were few, if any, female CEOs or board members, but there were many that owned and operated their own small businesses. Most all could work outside the home in some small variety of fields (from sewing and hat-making to silversmithing and book keeping). On the other hand, men weren't exactly perfect. The idea of a woman being taken advantage of by her boss was a real risk, even if only a minority of men did such a thing. Abusive husbands existed back then, too, but so did abusive wives. In short, don't look at either side of any era with rose-tinted glasses.

An argument can be made for the opposite. In a perfect world men will support women and everyone would be happy. But men who are not successful will be unable to. Sometimes men control women with the power as the breadwinner. I have seen this I think being poor is the worst of evils. I never judge a person. We never know what we would do if you walk in someone else's shoes.

Guys, if men are businessman, their women should also be worthy to become the partner of it too. They can always work together or the wife could still be a housewife. If something happens to the man, wife can always help by simply taking the authority of the business, if she's worthy or already a partner. So everybody should look for a worthy and mature woman instead of finding a miserable woman who will never become happy with anything you ever give and who never listens or even patriarchy or your 'alphaness' will never work. No financial or complain problems will ever happen again.

I mean, this thesis kind of neglects that the patriarchal social structures are breaking down due to shifts within the greater social order (economic priorities, environmental changes). Reverting to a previous social arrangement without doing anything to change the factors that caused those same social arrangements to breakdown in the first place just leads us in a circle (assuming that changes can even be made to prevent this).

You are probably sarcastic, but some women would like it and some men would like to provide it. My mom had to work, because one salary wasn't enough and I remember she felt most miserable moments because of work, family and time with family was the highlight. I have no real problem with the core tenet of feminism i.e. a woman having the same rights as men and having the freedom of self determination. I don't need my woman to be in complete submission to me, and it's almost impossible these days to run a household on one income. What I have a problem with is selective feminism, where she gets to be all Boss Babe/Modern Independent Woman on one hand while still expecting me to be traditional man on the other. Telling me "I'm not your maid" one minute then "You're the man get out and fix it" the next.

Unfortunately individualism is on the rise. This makes it very difficult to find a partner at least for average men or below. If you only date the top 20% of men then you can't really come back later and say all men are the same. Most of the top are players , eye candy but not really a good choice for long term or a Family. Telling men to man up isn't really the fix when all the girls turn him down. This actually can lower your confidence level. You want confidence in men then screw them that's how they gain confidence and if he is super cocky then he probably has a rotation! It's not rocket science. Men and women need each other now can we please come back down to reality? Most average men want a family and I know most women would be so much happier with one of these men who actually care and are not narcissistic. As a 51yo single father she left as they usually do I believe dating is officially dead. As in women may need a few decades alone unfortunately. Perhaps then when reality sets in we can all start dating happily again like the yr 2000 and before if folks don't loose it before then from loneliness. I do believe girls should be dating at least someone to help combat this loneliness epidemic to prepare for the possibility of war! Women are usually abused during wars unfortunately without protection. God help us! 🙏
