Kristina and I were debating who would watch first the video as we're still travelling, so here I am haha. It's super interesting what you say on people living by the book/getting "success" at young age but that's just a snapshot, not the end result. I also agree on the fact that the benchmark shouldn't be really "others" but yourself. Have you made progress? Going freelance seems like a big step after having a well paid job as filmmaker but again as you said... when people comment on that they try to reflect who they are, fear, etc. and it shouldn't be like that. On KZitem... "The time for action is now. It's never too late to do something." -Antoine de Saint-Exupery. I totally agree with you, adventures are the best thing ever and who says there's a timeframe to chase your dream? ;-) This is a great platform to build an audience, interact with people and promote what you do/want to do. Fantastic video and message Aram as always! 💪

Hahaha, where are you now?! Sorry I totally didn't see this comment otherwise I'd have replied ages ago. I completely agree with you, KZitem is such a great example of having a dream/ambition but being too afraid to chase it fully because of the worry of the opinion of others, but in the long run it's creative, fulfilling, and potentially financially better. Just like with anything, you have to truly want it and stick in the game long enough right?!

No problem! Haha yeah exactly. There are still our own fears to battle with and we can't blame everyone else, but definitely is important to take note of WHY people are saying what they say. Keep on going Adam!

Oh my goodness, I completely lost track of your channel for like the last 6 months or so. I was feeling overwhelmed and a bit lost for a bit of time, and for some reason, I randomly thought about you just now. Yeah, it sounds weird! It's probably because before, I used to watch your videos in those similar circumstances, and every time I watch them, I feel so much better! I've commented on them before, not sure whether it's the smoothness of your film skills or the things that you actually say, or maybe a combination of both. So I went in and searched for your channel. As I was going through your videos, this title caught my eye, and I felt like you were talking directly to me! I just graduated from university last November, and I have been thinking for the last 2 years about moving into the online world. I had to make a bold decision to give up on getting into a job, and for the last six months I have been working tirelessly on it, making it work, but going through a tough patch as well as coping with the pressure of managing expectations. Yet again, your video made me feel so much better. You are more than a film maker; you are a wise man! haha. I really missed your content. Maybe that's why I was getting lost. If you ever conduct a live show, I would be in the front row!

Hey man! Nice to hear from you :) Sorry to hear youve been feeling a bit overwhelemed and lost, I know that feeling well but equally every situation is unique so hope you can find the right answer(s) for yourself. Post-uni life is a scary time for sure, nothing wrong with feeling those things when you finally step out of the education system and realise your brain's constant go to thought is "...well now what?" Glad I popped into your head haha, make sure you take time away for yourself so you aren't comparing to others, but also not to close yourself off, and if you're thinking of getting into the online world I'd say go for it for sure!!!! :D There's nothing saying you have to do one or the other though, just do you, whether that's online, working in a job job, or a bit of both! Stay safe bro. I'll be sure to let you know if I ever do a live show but feel like that's a long way off from where I am now haha

Absolutely. often feels like a real rollercoaster of highs and lows right? But I always tell myself it's just a matter of staying in the game longer than most people and that's the tipping breakthrough point!

I love this video, thanks for making it :) this feels very relevant for me at the moment, as I edge closer and closer to my own dreams. "One more step" is my current life motto, I apply that thought to everything, can you see your next step? Just take that. It's helped me push myself to new limits.
