In 8 months, I personally lost 30 kg of weight without losing any muscle and strength. Losing fat is incredibly easy if you know what your doing. When I lose fat, my diet is high protein, high fat and very low carb. This worked great for me. I do strength and lactic acid training, and I also do cardio 2x a week (1x HIIT and 1x steady state). If there is one advice I can give to anyone struggling to lose fat, then it is to AVOID CARBS! This keeps insulin low and improves insulin sensitivity. Eat high protein and healthy fats, especially MCTs. It is also important to include a high-carb day 1x a week to keep your energy and metabolism high and replenish depleted glycogen stores during a low carb diet. This is in my opinion the best and fastest way to lose fat without losing any muscle and strength.

No, I was 500 deficit. I will explain. 1 kg = 3500 calories. If you are everyday 500 deficit, you lose 1 kg per week (7 days x 500 = 3500). So you can lose 4 kg per month. So 8 months x 4 kg = 32 kg. It is 100% possible to lose 30 kg in 8 months with 500 caloric deficit.

You can't measure visceral like you can external sub-cutaneous. The accurate measure of visceral can really only be done by expensive scans. Current science say the easy but not amazingly accurate method is a measurement of height to waist ratio in inches of 2 to 1. If you are 70 inches tall your waist should be 35 inches or less....

It depends on how fast do you want to lose. for example, reducing 200 calories will lose 500gr/week, while 500 calories 1kg/week. Maybe you can look at TDEE calculator to know how many calories should you lose to mantain, light/fast/extreme weight loss.

@@maxlugavere First of all I’d like to thank you for your well thought out professional response! I didn’t say calories don’t matter ….the point was the insulin response matters more, You just told people to cut 500 calories out of their diet and increase expenditure to lose 1-1.5 pounds per week. Dr. Fung has proven that cutting calories will reset your metabolism and won’t result in long term weight loss. I watched your interview with him and that’s what he said. You nodded in agreement. He reviewed the calorie cutting research and has proven time and time again that this approach to weight loss doesn’t work. The secret to weight is not a 500 calorie deficit…. You mentioned insulin once during this interview and failed to explain the physiological response that insulin has when you eat, and how the body can to switch to fat burn Send this interview to Dr. Fung to get his approval. Misinformation keeps people banging their heads on the wall…. And keeps them from losing weight. I’m sorry I hit a nerve with you but you are presenting information to thousands of people that trust what you say is true. YOU have a responsibility to tell the truth. Thank you!

@@maxlugavere I’ve done it with no calories, low calories or just perfect keto, no carbs. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I began to think there’s undiscovered data other that water fasting pretty much always works but people don’t need to drink much water like they try and flush out calories with it. Eating less is impossible for me without shrinking the stomach on like a weeklong or more water fast. After that I can eat a tblsp of food and feel kinda full. That is always a consistent result except for the times I have to fight past hunger. I’m like “how can I be hungry with fat to burn?” It is a confusing world. I know this. Before a fast I can’t fight hunger, after a week on the fast I can fight past it although I like to stay in bed because no food, is no joy and hurts my feelings, no motivation, harder to command strength. At that point I just know if I eat the weight isn’t going away. For some reason I could not win the argument not to eat, and finally won. Seems a matter of focus. People say they can’t because they don’t want the down days. Fasting means a lot of time in bed for most people, something like movie making money isn’t motivating them. The people that won’t lose the days do need some kinda other trick. It’s the best way to shrink the stomach is no food then tiny food portions when back on food. Fat people are addicted and they want to eat and enjoy. Steroids on the olden days thyroid medicine can change that in a few days like a miracle. Side effects are there with the miracle. I did a straight 30 days on water B4 but in bed like 99% of the time. I lost the weight though I had to sleep it off. I recommend induced coma, or lock up for people with out of control eating that can’t start off a fast. Or even a center can keep a security deposit if they can’t stay on track. Another way is weeks on only fresh green juice. Easier to accomplish after a week long water fast the stuff starts to satisfy. As far as all that science goes, I listen, put it to practical use and get inconsistencies and have disappointed customers but I can say What worked for me. Definitely too willpower and a trigger like my clothes wouldn’t fit anymore.
