I had a car just like that but with a black vinyl roof,I still have dreams that she is still sitting in the garage.I loved that car.. she also sits well with an olds 68 442 right next to her. Thanks for the video man great job!!!

I had a 67 Delmont 4-door like that back in the day. I inherited it from my uncle who oil rust-proofed the thing like a pickle. Not a spec of rust and low mileage. I junked it for some dumb reason like it needed an expensive exhaust system or some darn thing. Duh! I saved and stored the 4 doors all these years. If someone needs them, I will sell them. They have the interior panels, tight hinges, glass, etc all intact. Message me if interested. I miss that car and I love this video!

I had a 69 Delta 88 w/ a 455 in high school. I beat the crap out of that car. The blue bomber is what we called her. 800$ and it ran great. I had high school auto shop which I did some work on the front suspension bushings and changed the rear tires with used ones from behind gas stations because Id burn them off every few weeks.

No car is going to start on its own after sitting for a year you should check everything first nevermind tightening down the battery because the battery was no good the best battery you put in make sure it's not tightened down you don't need to brace it if the battery is no good it's going to take you a long time to get it out to charge it check oil trans fluid antifreeze put a little 2 stroke gas down carb if nothing then check points and see if you have spark if it does start youll have a valve tap reving it isnt good now that car has low mileage I could tell

I used to have a 68 Delmont 88 very similar to this one. I paid $800 for it from a preacher in California just before I got out of the Air Force in 78. I love that car and wish I still had it.

You know that this is the video that I always look for from you... My GTO started up, like I told you, with a little priming, and the engine spun maybe three times before it fired up... I am so glad that it ran good for you, and that, (joke intended) no tree jumped out in back of you! ha ha! Thanks for the video! Keep them coming! GTO Howie

I don't know why, but even though the slower and angrier the GM starters on these cars sound, I actually like it! I love creepy stuff!

What GM platform was the Delmont on? Looks a lot like the '69 Buick LeSabre my grandmother had. Those pale greens were a popular inside/outside color in that time.

@@delmontindustriesltd7501 I had noticed that. Oklahoma got hit kinda hard with a ice storm. I live in Arkansas and all we got was a light frost covering. Now tonight, they r calling for a hard freeze with temps n the low to mid 20s. I'm not a cold weather person. If its gonna get freezin cold, I want snow but we havnt had snow in bout 4yrs now. I'm happy u got u a new truck. U work hard at ur job I'm sure and then try and get videos out to us and make a little money on the side. It dont hurt to spoil urself every now and then. Also, with it being a Mopar as they call Dodges, It should last u an extremely long time as long as u under coat it to keep the rust down. Again, Congrats man!! Keep up the great work and videos

Hi! I am from England, we have a 68’ Olds 455 Delmont 88 Fisher Body Coupe here. Only one to have been imported into the United Kingdom. Are there many still in the US?

my parents bought a brand new Oldsmobile in 1968 it was an Delmont 88 4 door like yours except it was white with red interior no AC though but great car sad my parents got rid of it in 1976 when they traded for a Pontiac Safari Wagon .. but loved seeing these old Oldsmobiles.. if ever one comes up for sale in my budget I would probably buy it. oh this brings back memories of how in the winter it would take some doing to get it started.

I’ve watched your stuff for awhile, I have a 67 delmont 88 with the 5.4 330 engine numbers matching and I wanna get working on it soon. Seeing that you have a few delmonts yourself I’d like to get in touch sometime.
